- Had this thing for awhile just taking up space, thought I’d go ahead this year and slap it all together. Not something I’ll get to use often I don’t think, but a neat little thing to mess around with. Have some ideas this summer for trying it out with different spread material on the farm. Might give that a try too and bring you guys along to see how it goes. Thank you for watching, we hope to see you drop a comment down below and let us know what you think.

Looking sharp with that fresh cut.
Still amazed at what you and Cody have done with that house!
It looks so comfy
If you haven't done it already I would put the large area washers on the inside of the plastic hopper where it bolts to the main frame. As you said, the salt is quite heavy. Charlie looks like a good buddy to hang with!
I was going to comment same thing about thoes washers 😅🤣
You're seeing more snow in SC than we've got in MN. Lordy!
Your home looks so good inside in the ending scene!
Hellow guys good to see you again buddy's
Cool beans! I bet it would also come in handy to spread grass seed or fire ant killer. Thanks for sharing, Jay!
Keep up the great work, I’ve been a long time subscriber for five years
You look to have more snow than us here in Michigan...... I enjoy the snow and looking forward to a foot or two before winter ends.
So I'm watching this video as it is snowing here in MD. I'm regretting leaving Cocoa Beach where I was since Thanksgiving weekend and returned here on Sunday evening. There is no way I have the patience to put that spreader together. No way. You must be very patient. Your hair cut looks great too by the way!! Keep the videos coming man!!
Happy new year bro. Awesome haircut 💇🏽♂️ I think you rock it nicely long but you are looking sharp either way. Best wishes to you and yours. Until the next one 👍🏼
Thanks to the Ikeadya like instructions, they have the large washers Inside, and holding the plastic better. They also have the bolt outside going in which leaves your nuts in the salt.(not a good idea). Put the large washer Inside the plastic so it won't pull through once the weight of the salt is hanging there.12:02 mins shows "Step:2='Put the screws Inside so the Nuts are Outside of the cover.' That's why the lid sets off.You fixed it. "Impeller" is the salt 'fan'.This was a fun learning episode.I thought there was allot more complicated parts and this was a good tool.
Happy New Year Jay. Always love your videos. Have a great year
Those tire spoons are the best. Have a set just like those. They have helped me change lots of moped tires
Awesome little spreader!
I was watching your buick Lacrosse engine replacement and looking for part 2. It seems you left some of us hanging! I really wanted to see you pull the bottom plenum and see what happened! Kinda sucks no other video for it!
I believe that noise is the vibration that keeps the salt or what ever from cloging 🤔
Pretty good video on the spreader- you did a great job following the instructions- I’m seeing some snow on the ground as you drive aside the road- is somebody with you in the truck? 🛻 I can see the person’s shoes! 👟 I noticed you cut your hair and trimmed your beard- you’re good looking 👀 anyway! Have a great day !😅😅😅😅😅
Did the clunking go away once you put the extra weight on the shaft? Just wonder if the sound was a balance thing. The free end of the shaft might wobble more with no weight. Around here (NH) as long as you ain't shoveling, it's plowing LOL.
What happened to the ole days when they used to just sand the roads. Now a days they don't even plow hardly just dump a ton of salt on the road and make three inches of slimy slop to slide around on . Personally I thought sand and slowing down a little worked just fine and my cars lasted longer as well. 😊 Oh yeah I'm up here in the noth east the rust bucket state.
I was so surprised to see you spreading salt- I thought that was up the city or county. Seeing what salt does to a vehicle, I would never spread salt, if it was up to me. Use sand.
Looks beautiful out there with the snow. You look different Jay, did you cut your hair?
Sounds good with that straight pipe truck 🛻 you cut off your muffler of your red dodge truck have you
It rotted off, I added a little piece to kick it out the side so it wasn’t dumping beside the gas tank lol
11:19 that’s what she said
Keep that white shiiii down there. But hey, you can go tubing at Jonas Ridge!
Don't spread salt on gravel roads. You'll suck sorrow if you do.
Please stop spreading salt on the roads that will rust out the vehicles. Spread sand instead.
Why did you cut your hair? Nooooo!😅😅
