Busily building my own set up - think I may have gone to narrow on the aisle in the middle as it’s a bit tight for my dog to turn in, as you say never perfect.

Great video guys,,I have a clam shell type camper but I think I would prefer your type with a tilt bed..Dove campers do that style. Reason is they are a little slimmer and you your heads are at the hatch side. So if one wants out the other wakes up.

thank-you! yeh its ok. we aren't very fussy mattress people though! its a 90mm clark rubber foam mattress cut up into the different sizes. you definitely know your not sleeping in a bed 😂 makes the occasions we do get to sleep in a bed all that sweeter!

Where did you install or build the roof top?
it was done by a company called "dove camper conversions', they are based in perth. a few other companies do similar set ups, have a look at 'alucab', 'mulgo', 'alu-inovations'
@@saltylap There's a new mob near Brissy called Headspace...they're doing a neat conversion using the original Troopy roof (or a flat sheet) with roof rack tracks good for 150kg.
