For sure really it boils down to the length of the stabalizer no lens in your sight or clarifier in your peep. And you can't move your sight after the practice rounds.
The Camera crew did an amazing job, looking threw the scopes on the bows without powered lenses the camera almost made it look like they were powered. Now that's great job camera crew .
I live in between the first two guys. I'm about an hour and a half from Beckley and about and hour from Richlands. Great to see a couple guys local to me in the big show.
Man, I really wanted to see Wheeler win that. The Gearhead bow has my interest for sure. It’s a good looking bow, but looks heavy! I’d love to hear the specs on it.
Thx for broadcasting. But if you can do something for the "beedeebeedee" ring between each shot, who is hurtful after few minutes, and a torture after 2 finales :p
I probably would never purchase that GearHead B36 bow - due to it being pretty expensive for me. But if I were given one I'd ONLY use the B36 for the remainder of my life.
@@Pypamid l know that, like l said no magnifier your good to go. It's a target bow in a hunting bow class. I know you can hunt with a target bow. I don't see any in the timber around here.
That’s the thing, always some guy comes out of the woodwork with a monstrosity like the gear head bow and claim he hunts with it because she slapped on a hunting sight and a 10 inch stab; just to get a leg up on the competition. Am sure their arrows are the light weight flyer arrows and none of which heavy enough to take down a possum. They should limit ata length of bow to 36 or 34 and maybe allow a side quiver and no side stab.
Those bows look way longer than anything I would hunt with
Cross bread target look alike or hunting bow on steroid

idk im 6'6" and considering a TRX 40 for my next hunting bow.
I love watching the finals for this shoot on UA-cam. Hope to be there in person some day. Well done shooters and well done LAS!

Another great one by Lancaster. Thanks don't think I would want that Gear Head in the bushes.
These are some incredible archers!

40 inc ata hunting bow?
More of this please! Love the format and the equipment

How many yards are they shooting and is there a limit on the axle to axle length for the bowhunter class? Good video, great shooting folks.
20 yards. I don't know about ATA in this category but the bows used in this video do not look like there is any limitation.
Is there a league or high level of archery competition where archers use the bowhunting equipment?
3D archery, Vegas Shoot Bowhunter class, NFAA limited compound rules
@@2ndAveScents better late than never brother. Thankyou
@@jordanpowell228 anytime man
Great shooting!
I want to try a gearhead bow… but I just can’t get myself there.
Great coverage.
Shouldn't they be shooting from a pop up or tree stand?
What are the specifics for what qualifies as a bow hunter vs open?
No side stabilizers, under 12 inches, no magnification on your sight, can’t move sight after practice.
For such an important event you would think the paper targets would be centered and plumb.
That was epic. Anybody know the pondage they shoot at ?
Most shoot around 60lbs
About 60
To get an 11 must it not touch the line? Looked like an 11 to me
audio needs to be normalized and lifted.
I wanna compete in this Division
Good shooting!
What a way to lose for John Wheeler a real heart breaker.
Dude on the left has a very interesting looking bow
I would not hunt with any of these rigs
Those don't look like hunting bow's to me. No magnifier your a hunter.
Magnification isn't allowed in bowhunter class

Literally NOTHING about their setups are "bowhunter"..........
