You don't know how much appreciated attending class through the UA-cam.- It is easy in and out no passcode needed. I am grateful for sharing your time and talent. l am inspired and humbled every time studying about dear our lord Jesus Christ . His character and personality as a man and as a savior. Greatest gift ever I gotㅡ1).First time, the missionary told me that his church has "living prophet who receives revelation." Wow~ Fascinated to hear that and wondered. 2). Second time passed by.. Met another missionary introduced me book of Mormon. Wow~ could not believe that the fascinating story that never new. And 3).Third time met another missionaries told me about baptism -Wow~ Jesus is a kind and loving man who(promised that all my sin is forgiven and receive the holy ghost). It took me about 2~3 years became a member of the church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. Now, holy spirit is my constant companion beside me teaches me and comforts me.
Heavenly father is richest man of all and l am proud we got inherited all the blessings through Christ.

The Come Follow Me lessons from so many great spiritual scholars bring "THE LIGHT" into my mind, soul and I have a foundation of marvelous teachings to occupy my thoughts with meaningful self-talks of spiritual progression.
Since you are the creator of this sacred study, how many presenters are there that share their love of our Savior through this curriculum?
I know this has enlightened many.

Dear Sister Wilson, I would like to share some ideas about the temptations of Jesus in the desert. I have no doubt the encounter actually took place as described, but I also find in it a symbolic representation of the potential challenges for a god and creator to submit to the confines of human existence. Satan represents the convenience (as you mentioned) that the natural man would want when endowed with the power that Christ had during his mortal ministry. Surely Jesus had to face many instances where he could easily have solved a problem for himself if he would only stretch out his hand and use his power for convenience. However, other than serving others, he submitted himself hour by hour, day after day, year after year to living humbly before the Father and to having the full human experience, suffering hunger, thirst, fatigue. I think he was the only one strong enough to do that.

I just discovered you! You are a great teacher and I love how you organize the information. I also love your enthusiasm. I am, however, extremely disappointed that you use translations other than the KJV, because that is the Church's cannonized version. I'm not really sure why you do this. I don't want to study another translation (unless it is the JST), so not sure if I will continue to listen to your lessons. But you are an amazing teacher.

Dear Lori, I appreciate your note. I love the KJV--it is ONE of the canonized versions the church uses--but most do not read it (only in our English text) For example French members read an authorized version from the Catholic Vulgate. The Spanish, Chinese, etc. all read different translations--not the KJV. Joseph SMith himself said that Luther's German was his favorite translation and he learned Hebrew to read it directly. I have take his encouragement and that is why i studied Greek and Hebrew and continue to study other translations. This is why the Book of Mormon is such a unique book--all church translations start with our English. You are right, i love studying other translations--KJV of the Bible is beautiful and poetic. But our Article of Faith 8 recognizes the issues of translating problems with the KJV. I use the other sources to help communicate meaning on confusing passages. Did you know the church correlation has approved a team at BYU that I have worked with to write their own translation of the New Testament? I use that new translation in my research too. Also, I do not know if you are aware that the church correlation goes through all my notes and presentations? Also General Conference talks have cited other translations too. So we love the KJV, but we love truth more than a specific translation. I hope you can keep listening!
