Thank you again for your wonderful teachings of the D & C. The spirit bore witness to me strongly - towards the end of your video - of the truthfulness of what you were saying about Martin Harris and his testimony of the Book of Mormon.
How wonderful that God teaches Martin Harris how to go from being a "wicked man" in section 3 to becoming a "witness" in section 5 - by humbling himself. God still choose him. God still choose Joseph. And God still chooses each one of us. He is patient, merciful and full of grace, and always working with our best outcome in mind. No, the works of God cannot be frustrated because WE are His great work.
Tyler and Taylor, my scripture study for Come Follow Me has been magnified by watching your videos in conjunction to studying the scriptures. Words cannot express the thanks I want to say to both of you (and whomever provides support for the videos to be made) for making this possible. I really struggle to focus while reading but I find watching your videos after reading the same passage allows me to draw deeper insights. Both of you are truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful for the deeper understanding of the scriptures I have. Thank you.
I am so grateful for these teachings. Tears come to my eyes as I learn anew and my heart is awakened to a testimony and my mind enlightened with new understandings. The words 'thank you' do not even come close to expressing my gratitude. Thank You!
Thank you for this beautiful lesson! Every time I read D&C and JSH, my love and appreciation for Joseph Smith is increased. And my heart always goes out to him for all he endured for the Lord. I really appreciate your insight!
I am so grateful for your instructional videos on the scriptures! Thank you SOOO much for the content you share!!! I am grateful for the things I learn from you two...for your knowledge, insights, understanding, inspiration and comprehension. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Thank you for being who and how you are and for loving the gospel and our Lord the way you do. You are such a blessing to so many! May you be blessed as you bless!!!! Oh...did I say thank you? Thank you! 😘
What and uplifting lesson in a difficult time of my life. I want you to known that you have inspired to teach us all and it is making a big difference in the lives of many of us. God bless you all and your familys
You both have a wonderful, amazing way of teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ that even makes our teenage daughter's love to watch you each Sunday as part of our Come Follow Me study. Thank you for your dedication, service and sacrifice to provide us with historical context, insightful depth and the spirit into our home each week through your teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Few time I’ve felt the SPIRIT Testify to Me the Words that Your Teaching in the “Doctrine & Covenant” is Vary True. I too can’t Express enough that I’m SO Grateful for the TIME you take Learning, Researching & Teaching these Lesson’s. I’m thrilled. I’m taking my time, listening 👂, Jotting down lots, so it’ll STICK like Glue. Tyler I was thrilled to hear Your Testimony about Martin Harris, where he was Buried. If & WHEN the Canadian Border’s are safe to Cross again, some day 🙏🙏🙏. I’d love to find the Cemetery of Martin Harris. I have Family in Idaho, Salt Lake area. Thanks guys, your both so Awesome 📚👏🙏🥰
Thank You so much, I really enjoy listening to you as you share the insights on the scriptures. I have learned so much this last year. Really appreciate all of your efforts.
Thank you so much for your insightful teachings. They have helped me so much. I was concerned when you spoke of Martin Harris as being faithful to his dying day. I would love to hear more about what happened when he left the church for nearly 30 years and was humbled enough to ask Joseph to bring him to Salt Lake where he was later re-baptized.
I love your classes, your explanations are so full of the spirit and they testify to me. Thank you for talking about the plates of Nephi. I finally understood because of your explanation!
A great blessing that has come out of the covid pandemic is these great teachings, Thank you for offering your time and talents to all of us. I can't imagine not having these great lessons, thank you so much!
Brother Griffin, thank you so much. I LOVED your class at BYU and I'm so glad you are posting these video so I can enjoy your persective again. You are a master teacher.
As a missionary many years ago we would sing section 4 to the tune of We are all enlisted. Whenever i sing this hymn now i think of those times! Thank you for a lovely hour again.
I love God’s testimony about Himself in section 3. He tells us that He can be relied on, will not ever be defeated or frustrated. We are His greatest work and He will not fail in His goals of elevating us to His kingdom. I also love that He is much more interested in teaching Joseph and Martin, and changing and helping them grow, than He does about the lost record (which is a means to an end - the end being our perfection)
I just want to thank the book of mormon central team for putting so much effort in making these precious videos for us to learn more about the gospel. As a French member of the church I'm not very familiar with the details of church history and it was my goal to learn more about it. Thanks to your work and talents I'm able to study deeper and understand things from an additional perspective. It is a real spiritual feast for me every week. My family can also benefit from what I learn...so thank you!! 🙂 God bless you all
I love your teaching and devotion to teaching of the gospel. I have learned this year with your love of the gospel so much and that my testimony is strengthened through your love and determination to help me understand the gospel more.
Thank you so much for another inspired lesson. I have learn so much from your UA-cam channel. I am so grateful for the internet and youtube where we can learn the gospel from people like you and others and share it with the world.
Taylor and Tyler what a wonderful lesson. I learned things about the Book of Mormon I never knew before. I never even noticed that Mosiah 1 does not have a title heading. I found the explanation about that so interesting. Even though the 116 pages were lost, we still have some semblance of what was lost. I am so excited to be studying the Doctrine and Covenants with you this year.
Indeed god lives...I am existing because of his "persistence"...His "kindness and love" gives me a strength and hope..."Repentance"- What a gift of god! Without correction, I might stay where I am like a flat tire. I realized that calling is not privilege but comes with responsibility. Amazing! the process of "god" dealing with "human"...Revealing his heavenly truth... So real, Speechless.... Thanks mil....for the lesson.
Joseph Smith’s dad’ dreams and struggles! That was awesome, sometimes we think these things come out of nowhere, but people feel when things are coming. His prepares people. ❤️❤️
You both and all who make the extraordinary lesson videos are outstanding!!! Thank you so very much for everything you do the Lord’s work delightfully and also serve God’s children the ways the Savior would. It’s always so easy for me to feel the Holy Ghost through your well prepared teachings and your great insights surely lead me to have better desires to be closer to Christ. I really love prophet Joseph Smith so greatly. Actually I keep increasing my love and gratitude to him even more today.
@@taylorhalverson3052 I’d love to answer your question (actually about your great help😁). I struggle with my physical condition for some years and I don’t know what it is. Anyways physically, socially and temporary I can’t do many things and no job to work for a couple of years so far. The adversity has been the most unkind destroyer to me. Life is not easy for me mostly. But, thankfully I know the truth that I need my Savior at all. The worldly things must be ridiculously cold to me, but life with the gospel is always wonderful to me. I surely cannot say Thank God and Jesus enough never and forever. I’m painfully imperfect, but I really love learning about the scriptures, gospel and truths of God with the Holy Ghost everyday. My favorite moment is when I feel the presence of God. I feel His merciful kind love, great joy, deepest peace whenever I feel the Godhead close. I’m a very average person and I’m not knowledgeable or professor or educated well. Haha. So your teachings, lessons and great insights are super helpful for me to gain the truths and the ways Jesus would. During watching your excellent videos, I get some promptings and my personal revelation too. (maybe my physical condition distracts me for a couple of times) but, the Holy Ghost is so powerful and He teaches me how I can be better and do better as a disciple of Christ and also His(God’s) daughter. I always increase some better desires to be closer to Jesus, like you all do in the videos. I really can see and notice your meaningful preparations and extraordinary efforts to teach about the scriptures, gospel of Jesus Christ, church history and other resources to your followers. So that they( including me) can learn about them for themselves and trying to be closer to the Savior Jesus Christ no matter how long it may take lol Your teachings, lessons and insights surely help me to hold onto the path of God willingly and joyfully. Your beautiful lessons and testimonies help me to understand the mysteries and perspective of God greatly. You have so many and I can do some, but everyday I love to see God’s merciful hand in my life. I can do small and simple things with faith in Christ and hopefully I can serve my brothers and sisters in the ways I’ve learned from the gospel. I only have a few people around who are close to me. So my case is not like you extraordinary Saints, but I keep trying to follow Christ through you remarkable teachers excellent jobs and helpful lessons, insights and testimonies. Studying and learning about Jesus and His teachings are truly tremendous blessings to me. I’m not native English speaker and my English is poor and my average... I wish that I could express my gratitude to you enough. I may add some more after I re-check/read what I wrote lol. So thank you for everything you all do! You all seriously do fantastic jobs for the Lord’s work and His followers.
Tayler and Tayler I am so grateful to you both that each week you both show us every week the knowledge you both study so hard to break it down every week to understand it plainly for us to have this great knowledge you ask every week to study outcalso thank you once again for the time you both study also to help me personally to understand about the 116 pages of the Book of Mormon I am so grateful to you both
WOW !!! THANK-YOU, you have both brought so much clarity to section 3. To relate the words spoken & apply them into my own personal life. Once again - Thank-You !!! Keep up the great job that the 2 of you are doing. Your lessons help so many people !!!
Indeed, our Father works miracles and keeps His promises. So nice to know that with Him there is no time and that our journey here is very short compared to the eternity that we can and hopefully will live with Him. Thank you for remembering that He asks all of our hearts, minds, might and strength and gives back so much more. Thank you! Greetings from Belgium
I am so incredibly grateful for your video series! You remind me so much of my seminary teacher from the 1980s! Tonight you were a special blessing in my life, as I have struggled in my mind with a couple of problems. The lessons you presented were just what I needed! Thank you again!
Thanks for these enlightening lessons. I´ve learned even more today about the 116 pages. Thanks for your efforts and thanks for the great blessing that I have every time I watch these video lessons. My testimony grows bigger each time.
Tyler, You were my professor 3 semesters at BYU. I truly love your teaching style. Thank you for your passion for the scriptures. I admire and appreciate your deep understanding of even the personalities of the writers of scriptures. Thank you for doing this.
D & C - my favorite book of scripture - most likely due to its integration into church history! So interesting and never a dull moment. It is amazing to hear the stories of the restoration. So appreciate each lesson.🤗👍🤝
Wow this episode was so good. Total lightbulb moment with the mosiah I vs III thing and the chapter headings, and the fact that Mosiah 1 really feels like we are already midway through a story and just being thrown in. Also loved the connection with Jos. Smith senior and the farming analogy vs the fisherman analogy. Also loved how you painted the picture as far as the history behind these sections. I truly appreciate these videos. Feels like I’m back at BYU with an awesome religion professor like Susan Easton Black or Spencer Fluhman again. Truly great stuff!
So excited to be learning the D and C this year, the communications and engagements the Lord had with JS and the leaders at the time is a witness to me that God works with us patiently, endlessly and lovingly despite our repeated mistakes and weaknesses. I just think there is no greater love than that of a loving Lord with his hand outstretched to us always ❤
Your explanation of the loss of the 116 pages has been so helpful. The Lord has said that the BoM has the fullness of the gospel unto salvation. We have all we need, even without the 116 pages. But God always has a plan. How awesome is that? Learning to wait and watch God work is so important. His arm is always revealed...makes me smile when I recognise it.
Amazing lesson from both of you. Now I understand the revelations given for sections 3 to 5 because of background. It does help. You are doing a missionary work by giving me knowledge. That's listed in Doctrine and Covenants 4 verse 6. How cool. Thank you so much.
I always believed that the episode of the lost manuscripts and the role of Nephi and Mormon to remedy that which was lost had one great purpose namely - if Joseph was going to be able to do the work of the Lord and restore the church - he had to learn the very important lesson to listen to and trust God above men.
Thank you for helping me find comfort in the trials that are facing my family in our moments of anxiousness. Because of decisions that were made as a result giving in to temptation from Satan.
@@sharonflay1593 The Bible is the word of God. It is a witness for God and Jesus Christ. ... The Bible is a record kept primarily by the Tribe of Judah. There are other tribes of Israel that have scriptural records and the Book of Mormon is a record kept by descendants of Joseph (the Joseph of the Coat of Many Colors). These descendants of Joseph were led by the hand of the Lord to the American Continent at the time of Jeremiah 600 BC. The Book of Mormon was translated to English by a modern-day Prophet and Seer, Joseph Smith. We have additional records including revelations given to Abraham, Enoch, and Moses that were revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith. These revelations are contained in the book we call the Pearl of Great Price.
Both of you are awesome teachers. When you first began teaching last year, I told my oldest daughter I needed to move to Provo. I need to register at BYU and sign up for classes. She laughed and said, "I'm sure you can take classes on line."
I had prayed about something very specific and extremely important to me this morning. I pled for a witness. Then I continued with this video. It was right at a part that was a direct answer to that prayer. I'm grateful that you brethren are in tune. Thank you.
A sincere appreciation T&T Brothers for your guidance and inspired comments for D&C 3-5 !! Can I suggest what I feel SUMS up these sections: "Strength in Humility and Weakness in Pride" I can see this Principle weaving its way through our 3 people of record 1). Joseph Smith Jr. 2). Joseph Smith Sr. 3) Martin Harris particularly. What a journey for Martin going from a Wicked Man to one of the 3 Witnesses. Through their and OUR mortal journey, we see a Loving and Merciful God who is willing to forgive and ALWAYS welcome us back to fulfill our life's mission !! So may we always TRUST in the one who is mighty to save !!
As you referenced the Book of Mormon, I had an insight as to the often-repeated phrase, “Keep my commandments and ye shall prosper in the land.” I’ve mostly thought of this as meaning obey my commandments and you will be blessed. Today, in Taylor fashion, I looked at the word “keep” to mean take care of, and don’t lose. The plates of Laban were important enough for the Lord’s purposes to justify taking a life to have them in Lehi’s family’s possession. They were to be kept and taken care of so the people would have the law and their history to sustain them and teach and guide them. Their prosperity was contingent on hanging onto the record of their law. When Martin Harris lost what was translated, Joseph temporarily lost the law-he couldn’t keep what was lost. God provided a way in asking Nephi to make the small plates and keep them. That was God’s contingency plan to all the commandments to be kept. 😊
I remember in one of the Santa movies, that they care just said, that it not a matter of believing to see but rather seeing to believe. This has helped my testimony.
Truth.Teenagers: “Hope, Rebuke, Hope, Rebuke” doused with eternal love, activities with teenagers, spouses and family. Life just doesn’t get any better than to follow the example and teachings of Jesus Christ.
What a merciful act of our Heavenly Father to command Moroni to retrieve the golden plates so that they're not on display for the world to see. We're given mercy and the choice of whether or not to believe without violating justice.
Okay, that was really helpful. I've never quite fully understood the small plates that Nephi wrote in relation to the lost 116 pages. Great explanation and thank you for doing these videos.
I too have relatives from Clarkston, Utah. My Grandma Agnes Buttars has a sister named Electa who married Jesse Griffith. Are they related to you? We use to visit the Clarkston cemetery and the gravesite of Martin Harris. Very interesting connection! Love studying the Church History and the D&C.
You are very dedicated to your work and I respect what you say as someone who is trying to learn more about your beliefs. I ask this question quite sincerely Why is it that the Church overall seems to teach mostly about the Book of Mormon when the Bible outdated it by centuries and should be used as the basis for teaching the things on which you base the name of your Church. JESUS CHRIST S
Great question, Peter! We love the Bible and teach from the Bible. I have a PhD in Biblical Studies. I've spent nearly three decades of my personal and professional life studying the Bible, its languages, history, culture, etc. The Book of Mormon is a very ancient text, essentially contemporary with the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Book of Mormon originated in Jerusalem around 600 bc. The prophets who began composing the Book of Mormon were commanded to flee Jerusalem before the Babylonian conquest. After many years of travel (including an ocean voyage) then landed in the Americas. The Book of Mormon was continuously added to by prophets for another 1000 years, until around 421 AD when the last prophet (Moroni) was commanded by God to bury the plates so that they would come forth at a later time. Then God called Joseph Smith to bring forth the Book of Mormon. In summary, we love and use the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
Peter- I love all books of scripture. The old testament has God's covenants with his people. It has many lessons for us. It is also old, can be confusing, and has been translated so many times that the languages and contexts are hard to relate to sometimes. The New testament is amazing with so much from the life of Jesus and his apostles. We have much more modern copies to translate from but it still has been copied by hand and translated so many times that much clarity is lost. The Book of Mormon was written anciently and translated only once. It has many plain and precious truths as well as the full gospel of Jesus Christ. It exudes truth from its pages as you read and the Spirit burns it into your very soul. It is still about ancient peoples with unfamiliar customs and ways. The Doctrine & Covenants was written relatively modernly and in our own language. Never translated. Very plain speaking. Hard to misunderstand. All of these have been instrumental to my own process of receiving a personal witness of Jesus Christ and God's dealings with his children. They are all witnesses of Jesus Christ. All persuade to do good if read with a spirit of humble supplication. I look forward to the day that we will have the accounts from every land and people of God's dealings and covenants with them for he surely loves all mankind the same and manifests himself to all.
I love your lessons and look forward to them each week. A question came up in Gospel Doctrine last Sunday. If the Lord gave Joseph permission to let Martin take the 116 pages, then why was the Lord so upset with Joseph? According to your lesson, on Joseph's third request, the Lord granted the request and gave specific instructions (5 people only). The Church's publication (Revelations in Context) says pretty much the same thing. However, the Church's publication (Saints, Vol 1, Ch 5) says that on Joseph's third request that "God allowed them to do as they pleased." Allowing someone their Agency or giving them permission seems like two different things to me. Am I wrong? Please help me reconcile my confusion.
*Mormon writing 115 pages of the record of Lehi* “This is going to be so powerful” *God seeing the future and how so many people barely make it past 2 Nephi* “Yeah we’re gonna need to cut this down a bit”
It says that we should keep an eye single to the Glory of God. I see the Glory of God as the " this is My work and My glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" What is your view on these two passages.
I just had a thought as I was rereading Section 3. In verse 18, the Lord talked about how He had suffered the Lamanites to destroy the Nephites because of their wickedness. It may be that Joseph knew that already because of the many angelic visitations, but in July of 1828, he was nowhere near that part of the Book of Mormon translation. I wonder if he knew that before? Just a thought. Brethren, you are a blessing to us all!
Who created the artwork shown at 51:22? I’ve never seen it and it’s extraordinary. I’d love to find it. Edit: I tracked it down. It is ‘The Lamb of God’ by Yongsung Kim.
About the Book of Mosiah and not having an Intro/Heading. Enos/Jarom/Omni do not have that either? Is that because 2 Nephi is meant to cover that time period?
This is Don Bradley’s book entitled “The Lost 116 pages” is an excellent resource on this topic. Well worth the read. He claims that there were more than 116 pages, based on the amount of time it took them to produce the translation up to that point.
Thank you for the in depth look of the life of Martin Harris and the 116 pages 🙌🏽

Thank you for your insights of the Doctrine and Covenant this week. I love listening to your channel.
Thank you!
WOW !!! THANK-YOU, you have both brought so much clarity to section 3. To relate the words spoken & apply them into my own personal life. Once again - Thank-You !!!
Keep up the great job that the 2 of you are doing.
Your lessons help so many people !!!
You guys are awesome! I love your insight and explanations. Thank you for sharing your talents and time with us all.
Thank you Suzy!
You are the best, Julie!
@@taylorhalverson3052 no you are ; )
So so good. I always learn a lot from you two. Thanks for all your time and effort on my behalf.❤️
happy to share!
I am so incredibly grateful for your video series! You remind me so much of my seminary teacher from the 1980s! Tonight you were a special blessing in my life, as I have struggled in my mind with a couple of problems. The lessons you presented were just what I needed! Thank you again!
Love your faithfulness!
Thanks for these enlightening lessons. I´ve learned even more today about the 116 pages. Thanks for your efforts and thanks for the great blessing that I have every time I watch these video lessons. My testimony grows bigger each time.
Awesome!
Thank you for this wonderful lesson! Always looking forward to the next one! Thanks so much for your time and effort!🌞💖✨🌷
We love hearing from you!
Thank you for your awesome insights!
You bet!
Thank you for these amazing lessons. I love learning more about the background of these brethren in the Doctrine and Covenants.
Glad to have you here!
Tyler,
You were my professor 3 semesters at BYU. I truly love your teaching style. Thank you for your passion for the scriptures. I admire and appreciate your deep understanding of even the personalities of the writers of scriptures.
Thank you for doing this.
You are kind, Sarah!
D & C - my favorite book of scripture - most likely due to its integration into church history! So interesting and never a dull moment. It is amazing to hear the stories of the restoration. So appreciate each lesson.🤗👍🤝
Thank you Cynthia!
Thanks Dustin!
Thank You for all you are doing. Learn so much from your teachings.
We love to know this!
Thank you again Marlee!
Beautiful!
Amazing lesson from both of you. Now I understand the revelations given for sections 3 to 5 because of background. It does help. You are doing a missionary work by giving me knowledge. That's listed in Doctrine and Covenants 4 verse 6. How cool. Thank you so much.
Thank you for this kind note!
How grateful I am for having this opportunity to listen your teachings. May our Father in Heaven bless you abundantly in all aspects of your life.
Thank you Esmeralda!
I always believed that the episode of the lost manuscripts and the role of Nephi and Mormon to remedy that which was lost had one great purpose namely - if Joseph was going to be able to do the work of the Lord and restore the church - he had to learn the very important lesson to listen to and trust God above men.
Love this prespective!
Thank you for this presentation. It was interesting and helped me understand the times better.
Excellent!
Thank you for helping me find comfort in the trials that are facing my family in our moments of anxiousness. Because of decisions that were made as a result giving in to temptation from Satan.
Beautiful to hear this!
Thank you so much for explaining what happened to Mosiah I. I have wondered for years why he was lost and parts of Benjamin as well. Great job!
I highly recommend, “The Lost 116 Pages: Reconstructing the Book of Mormon's Missing Stories”
by Don Bradley
I would 💙 to know if there would be another bible?
I have seen an interview with him on Saints Unscripted and really enjoyed his insights! Thank you for reminding me of that.
A fantastic book! I’ve read it and heard brother Bradley speak about it. I highly recommend it too. So incredible to contemplate.
I appreciate this lesson greatly, thank you!
Amen.
Ad we appreciate you!
Always thankful for this❤️
:)
Both of you are awesome teachers. When you first began teaching last year, I told my oldest daughter I needed to move to Provo. I need to register at BYU and sign up for classes. She laughed and said, "I'm sure you can take classes on line."
ha ha! We are doing these videos so that people everywhere do NOT have to move to Provo to get a BYU experience :)
A wonderful class, thank you so much for taking the time to prepare and teach this spiritual lesson. 😊
Thank you Miriam!
Thank you for your wo wonderful insights! Your lessons are the highlight of my week!
We love hearing from you!
Great testimony of Martin Harris. Thank you.
Agreed!
I had prayed about something very specific and extremely important to me this morning. I pled for a witness. Then I continued with this video. It was right at a part that was a direct answer to that prayer. I'm grateful that you brethren are in tune. Thank you.
Wow, what a beautiful note!
Thank you for explaining this so beautifully!
You are welcome!
Great perspective!
Thank you for this. It's a great help while.prep my lesson🙂

Okay, that makes sense now about Mosiah. Thanks for that explanation.

Thanks to both of you.
You are awesome, Kimberly! :)
Great as usual. Thank you!
Thanks!
:)
Amen!
Okay, that was really helpful. I've never quite fully understood the small plates that Nephi wrote in relation to the lost 116 pages. Great explanation and thank you for doing these videos.
you bet!
Can't help but think of ALL of the genealogy that is sitting in boxes. I shall not those the work of my ancestors!
You are very dedicated to your work and I respect what you say as someone who is trying to learn more about your beliefs.
I ask this question quite sincerely
Why is it that the Church overall seems to teach mostly about the Book of Mormon when the Bible outdated it by centuries and should be used as the basis for teaching the things on which you base the name of your Church. JESUS CHRIST
S
Thank you very much😍👏
You are weclome!
Excellent!!
Thanks!
Thank you.
Thank you pastor good thoughs message about joseph
:)
So incredible!
Thanks!
*Mormon writing 115 pages of the record of Lehi* “This is going to be so powerful”
*God seeing the future and how so many people barely make it past 2 Nephi* “Yeah we’re gonna need to cut this down a bit”
It says that we should keep an eye single to the Glory of God. I see the Glory of God as the " this is My work and My glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" What is your view on these two passages.
I love this insight!
Amazing video!! You guys are so talented
Thanks for being with us!
Cool thought. As you pointed out, this may be the first time that Joseph Smith learned the ultimate fate of the Nephites.
Who created the artwork shown at 51:22? I’ve never seen it and it’s extraordinary. I’d love to find it.
Edit: I tracked it down. It is ‘The Lamb of God’ by Yongsung Kim.
Would love to see your videos posted on Rumble! ❤️
We'll stick to UA-cam since our audience is here already :)
About the Book of Mosiah and not having an Intro/Heading. Enos/Jarom/Omni do not have that either? Is that because 2 Nephi is meant to cover that time period?
Enos/Jarom/Omni are not multi chapter books, only those with several chapters have an intro if I understood correctly what Tyler said.
I thought it was not known how many pages were lost, that the 116 comes from how many pages the small plates occupied when translated.
The latest research on the 116 pages is found here: www.amazon.com/Lost-116-Pages-Reconstructing-Mormons/dp/158958760X
Hi Antony, Het boek van Bradley, The 116 Lost Pages is een geweldig boek als je meer wil weten, een aanrader! 🌞👍
This is Don Bradley’s book entitled “The Lost 116 pages” is an excellent resource on this topic. Well worth the read. He claims that there were more than 116 pages, based on the amount of time it took them to produce the translation up to that point.
