Lauren probably one of the most underrated footballers ever
I'm a Man Utd fan, but I've got to admit that during this period Arsenal played some beautiful Football
Arsenal has always played beautiful football. It's a genuine pity that they lack the efficiency required of great teams to strike goals when there are opportunities and a strong mentality to not lose grounds in big important games.
Still no champions league tho and I'm a arsenal fan
Thanks we did a title
Is all that matters
How ever you win it mate
@@TuanNguyen-zc8ig Wenger idea was
Attack was the best for. Of defense
To him
On the bench for Arsenal that day: Robert Pires, Cesc Fabregas, Robin Van Persie.
That team was out of this world....
fourteen113 the equalizing goal summed up Arsenal
The fact this team never won in Europe
fourteen113 this team was overrated, you expected them to dominate premier league but look Man Utd in two occasions won PL three years in a row, every one expected this team to dominate atleast 5 straight years, then never won European cup🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@steveomo2001 it was an old team. When they retired/left arsenal struggled to get replacements and thus the start of Arsene Wengers banter era
James Hetfield this team was on their prime bro, I remember as a kid them playing 10men Man Utd after Roy Keane red card and still Giggs came with the goal of century
Dat Pires dribble before goal tho
Is cuz he's buff
Pure skill, he made it look so simple
Same trick he used on Gerard at anfield
owen j 2-1 Game, squared it to Freddie.2/1 boom.Took Gerrard apart man 👀⭐️ Plus his winner in 2/1 game with his wonder goal 👆🏼Smooth operator he was ❤️
Doh*
what a wonderful feet by Pires. Absolutely amazing
that assist from Cesc to Freddie for the 4th goal at 5:51 though. My God!!!
humphre3000 what a beauty it was
@@hanklesacks .jlllkkmgh
Was there with my Dad, great game for him that day. Some memories are bigger than others
pause at 6:01. look at the celebration squad : HENRY,BERGKAMP,PIRES,VIERA,LJUNBERG,FABREGAS,COLE....(REYES,RVP on bench). Man, i could come by watching those guys play such beautiful football instead watching porn. old days, damn....
How we didn't win in Europe is beyond me
And randomly Cygan lmao
RIP Reyes
Miss that momment , such a beautiful game.
kiên cao Who, out of the current squad, would get in that side? Great days.....
@7:25
One of my favourite Pires goals ... defender had no chance!!
Pires can always find a crack to place the ball into the net. His scoring record as a winger is very prominent.
+Wonder Kid Pires was far too good, He could probably still make it in the premier league. even playing at walking pace he would be too much for defenders to handle. Brilliant feet, a fantastic football brain and accuracy that could rival any premier league striker.
Players like Pires, Zidane and Pirlo are a dying breed. Technical ability that could only be considered a gift from god.
+shanecle Pires was the man!
Chris Fitzsimmons straight facts
Perfect old Arsenal
I want those days back.
will never happen
10 years on, they're back. on 50 points off the back of 2-0 and 3-2 wins over spurs and united. hope this ages well
Robert Pires what a goal
Back when men played for Arsenal, today full of boys more concerned about fashion, image, and social media followers, I miss them days now feel so far away
On the up now, better character judgement in recruitment now
Lauren was great at defending and penalties.
Been watching arsenal 60 years, Lauren the best right back
forever in our shaddow spurs !!! North london is red!!
MrMemzTV 6 years and counting m8
What do we think of Tottenham?
Trubbyboyy SHIT
actually the WHOLE of london is red!
Trubbyboyy absolute shyte
HAHA,stupid SPUDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forever in our SHADOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COYG!!!!!!!!!!!
Almunia single handedly managed to bring down Arsenal, post invincible era!
Rajat Singla Didn’t he just,🙄 Fucking idiot of a keeper.
that guy was is arsenals worst player ever. i remember how he was scared to come on in the finals of the champions league
We love you Arsenal we do!
We love you Arsenal we do!
Arsenal we love you!
Oliver Steinn Bergsson Learn to spell
I keep coming back to this. Luv it.
The good old days!!!!
What a team: Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira, Pires, Ljungberg, Fabregas, Cygan...
Cygan?? Shit
Cygan you are deluded and dumb
I think it was sarcasm......
@@johnedwards4492 you are duluded
@@bryanbilton3030 sorry cygan is the best defender I've seen at highbury
I have been watching these to cure my depression and I tell you it's good medicine
Arsenal played beautiful football.
Pires was mecurial
+Roman Hoax The Don!
??
Thanks for the upload ;)
exciting game! and Fabregas looks very young at that time.
thats because he was young ha
This is what an Arsenal team should like. Henry, Bergkamp, Fabregas, Viera. Pure quality!
You got that one right
Pires
Track Fabregas from 5.29, he made that whole goal, from beginning to end
yes, it was a great assist.
I was tracking Bergkamp from 5.27.
@04:09......RIP Rayes
R.I.P Reyes 😢😢
Go on henry.. The arsenal statue pose after his first goal
I'm a liverpool fan but i remember this game,a classic epl game
in memorian of these old arsenal days. brilliant
15 years on and I still can’t believe this game happened at the Lane.
Come to think of it the fact it just dawned on me it was 15 years ago now is shocking 😱
Commentator got it spot on when he said 'Cesc Fabregas, shows what a marvellous prospect he is' ... who's watching this in 2017?
Still wondering how cygan was part of the invincible team...without him maybe arsenal could be unbeaten for 100 games😅
Fabregas a prospect. Van persie on the bench. How times have changed!
What a North London derby.
Plus we won our 2 league titles in 70-71 and 03-04.
Pires, Vieria, Henry, Lauren and Lujunberg.
Tottenham are amateurs, because they will always be Arsenal's shadow.
how about now
@@theylivewesee1674 still very much amateurs. spurs won the league in black and white. It took Emery just season to bridge the gap to top 3. Next year Arsenal will easily finish above spurs. Arsenal should have beaten spurs with at least 4-5 goals at home and spurs were very lucky to get a draw at home
They Live We See yea still
@@BeskuitenBroffie They Live We See yeah still
rolf wang what about this season
REAL REFS LET THE GAME FLOW I MISS THAT
Thx for the vid :D
1-0 Noureddine Naybet (36 min)

2-4 Freddie Ljungberg (69 min)
3-4 Ledley King (73 min)
3-5 Robert Pires (80 min)
4-5 Frederic Kanoute (88 min)
ARSENAL FAN from Malaysia!its me!congrat 5-2!!!!
What a classic match!
I miss this team. Even the team cohesion was much stronger than what the recent teams have been offering
Both commentators sounded biased in this match
Well the assistant commentator was Niall Quinn, so he IS going to be biased.
Massively towards spurs it sounded!
It was hard for commentators and journalists not to get carried away by arsenal in this period, much like Liverpool today
Perfect old Arsenal... and Pascal Cygan
Best arsenal team in the eight years I have watched the game was when Henry and the likes played for them at Highbury! Around 2004!! Idk what happened I guess when Arsenal sold Henry that was the mistake because he was the best they had!
tottenham FAN but even though we lost this game it was still a great game
Young fabregas was there :) i like when arsenal player celebration in front sp*rs fans..
That was an impressive Arsenal squad. Great game as well.
One of the guys who scored on that day Jermaine Defoe, is still kicking a ball today @ Glasgow Rangers.
Scoring 4 at home and still losing is pure spursy
Henry >> Drogba.
How did Arsenal let Cole go to Chelsea? Crazy 🤦🏾♂️
Best era of football and most iconic match ball ever
i love premier league celebrations.
Now this is London derby.. I don't see that anymore
I thought the 4-2 was excellent
I can remember watching this getting sooooo triggered how the ref wouldn’t let any arsenal player celebrate the goals 😂
Martin Taylor is a spurs fan you can feel it in his voice.
#forever in our shadow.
nuff said
Attack attack attack.😉.great football.. Absolute classic.😉
The level of football back then compared to now
LAUREN'S CELEBRATION LMAO!!
almost as good as adebayors
lol.
Now back to 1978, for a bit of Brady magic in that 5.0 win at Shitehart lane.
Yids got excited after the first goal and then we shattered them as usual!
you can tell the commentator is not a arsenal fan.
Fantastic maches and so goal
Memories are all we have now...lol
Lauren's penalty was top class.
quelle drible RP7 fantastic
That was back when we could play football
What a great Arsenal team, unreal
yes the commentators tend to favor the smaller clubs
What a nice game
Brilliant
I don't but you guys , but for me this era football so fantastic....
All of that makes me laugh except the Kanoute goal.
I love how these commentators are clear Spurs fans. They shout and scream for every spurs goal, and quietly talk for every Arsenal one....
Robert Pires had that unusual gait when he ran, but man, he had skills! Spurs put 4 past Arsenal that day and still lost. 😂 #GOONER4LIFE
tbf mate Niall Quinn used to play for Arsenal and Martin Tyler is meant to be a big fan of Arsenal , so i doubt they're being biased in any way .
Hard to believe Thierry Henry NEVER lost to tottenham
jst wish we continue d legacy bck then
The difference in class between these two teams is huge,Arsenal playing some lovely one touch football while spurs are just hoofing balls in the box.Not much has changed as they're still doing it under Mourinho today..
What a thrilling
what a team
This is why I believe Henry is Arsenal's greatest:- How many strikers lose the ball and run as fast as Henry did when he lost the one that led to that last goal? He was the last defender when the ball went in!
Arsenal always been vulnerable at the back
*This was when Arsenal was actually good.*
"...can't say they won't."
Yeah, they won't :)
I also know my boundaries as it flames.
watching Nov 2017
Why is Lehman wearing a hat on the Spurs 3rd goal? Lmao
To shield his eyes from the sun...
For the sun
for the sun . thats why hats were invented dum dum
COME ON YOU GUNNERS.
Bergkamp the most underrated player
Not by me
@@rodgerroadkill339 no 1 cares
still awesome
Back then our defence didn't matter, we'd simply shrug and score more goals if we conceded, now we just shrug most of the time.
love Arsenal wining 4-5 at Tottenham Hotspur ground because it was the best math in the universe.
That fabregas assist
8:51 did they ever get another one back 😂
I wonder if my fellow arsenal fans realised at the time just how good this team was... Hoooooo :'(
Good shout Andrew, I didnt
