Going a goal down and singing "your shit and you know you are" was magic. We were NEVER going to lose that game, every Gooner sang their hearts out that day. The service stations on the way home were fun too ! COYG.
This era/squad Vs utd was a genuinely strong rivalry. The 6 year period of 1998 to 2004 was like a boxing match between Ali and foreman at there best. No one else was close. Both clubs built carefully on strong foundations. Then abramovich happened...
Wenger was tracking Yaya Toure at Monaco and everybody was telling him to sign him and he just did nothing and let him go to Barca. Much like Arsenal had a chance to re-sign Anelka from Bolton in 2008 and instead let him go to Chelsea where he helped them win the league.
This is an excellent Arsenal side. The post George Graham era and the most successful Wenger's tenure at the club. This was a masterful performance by Patrick Vieira. He was an epitome of an excellent defensive midfielder. His endeavour and dynamism made him one of best midfielder in his era. He was one of the maskersteers that composited the best Arsenal side ever assembled. Now, we can only recapitulate the enchanting moments of that epoch.
Frank Champion it's been played at Wembley for a while but this was when the old Wembley had been demolished and the new Wembley was being built so the final was in Cardiff in 2001-2006
I've just pulled out the Tottenham shirt I got when I was a kid that was signed after this game by Tottenham players dnt know who has signed it tho, got tims signiture that's all I know
Ref was the usual biased spurs fan. Why Perry was not booked for that ridiculous challenge on Henry is beyond comprehension. Spurs always getting the easy ride and yet they still couldn't make it count.
A great great day I was at my cousins 21st a good Arsenal boy and apparently slept all the way there, even some of the top boys asked why I was green? Loved absolutely loved Campbell letting us in. I did better than 1980 as slept first half against valencia. Ps I slept all the way back despite being punched several times. 😆
It's astonishing how similar in playing styles Ozil and Pires are. If Ozil could just develop Pires' killer instinct in front of goal, he could be a carbon copy!
10:30 _"Campbell for the moment is pledging his future to Tottenham"_ 😂😂😂

The stewards that day said it was th best atmosphere old Trafford has ever had
Spurs always won a trophy when there was a 1 at the end of the year. We put a stop to that!
True enough. For example, they won the League Cup in 1971. hee hee hee

Man, Vieira was a really beast... 🔥
13 league titles vs 2. Forever in our shadow
FORTY NINE FORTY NINE UNDEFEATED
FORTY NINE FORTY NINE I SAY
FORTY NINE FORTY NINE UNDEFEATED
PLAYING FOOTBALL THE ARSENAL WAY!
And now you can barely go two undefeated😂
@@jimbob6924 At least he didn't get thrown down the shaft of the Death Star II by his apprentice!
Lets face it, when you haven't won a title since before England won the world cup, you have been in our shadow for a long time.
'1-0 to the tottenham' then arsenal score two seconds later LOL
I can remember this day like it was yesterday omg
Never replaced Patrick Vieira

Vieira and Pires always scored against the yids lol
Frank Champion why were we playing in Manchester this game ????
Fa cup semi finals used to be played on neutral venues ... now they are played at wembley
and now the fa cup is a totally shit and boring competition...5:30 kick off for the final! everything that made it special is gone
Frank Champion it's been played at Wembley for a while but this was when the old Wembley had been demolished and the new Wembley was being built so the final was in Cardiff in 2001-2006
@@stealthiscool Yeah but the semi final should of been played at neutral grounds and it should of stayed like that
Problem with Arsenal right now: too many "Reyes (Antonio)" on the pitch. From full backs to forwards, they are too cheeky.
Good Memories
Spuds are Forever in ARSENAL Shadow
I was there, and loved it. 👍👍
This Arsenal team is gone. Now they're nothing like that anymore.
Please oh please dont tell me you are Man united fan

Pires is much better
Ozil is a lazy bastard with zero pace
We became shit once Vieira left.

this game is just proof how arsenal had the refs in their pockets
