Thierry Henry was something else. He is the king of Highbury the king of Arsenal forever. Even today after seeing this video I am ashtonished by his sheer quality and deadly scoring ability. I am a Man Utd fan but I never forget those days when Arsenal had this God gifted World class striker who could win a game single handedly. He was one of the best player in the world and will always be remembered as a football legend. I think he was the most skilful and gifted striker in the history of the English Premier League. Thank you King Henry.

The goal at 1:36 proves just what a phenomal footballer he is. He could've finished it easily after he got past the goalkeeper but he just chose to wait and finish it with absolute style.
If you watch closely, he trips after he crosses the keeper and I’m guessing this is why he didn’t just shoot then and there. But he recovers so quickly that it looks normal. All the more testament to his phenomenal athleticism and skill

I think the best compliment I can give Henry is that as a young villa fan growing up he was the one & only player I remember who I was genuinely fearful of when we would be playing them, as I just knew at any given second he could score any type of goal from any distance... you simply was on edge every time he had the ball as you knew the talent he possessed & that itself was scary - I think that’s the best compliment I can give to describe him the best... & I hope it does him justice for the younger generation to let them know just how great he was

Love the video! I've been a soccer fan since the mid 80s. Henry is my favorite player ever. His style was aggressive yet elegant. He was predatory yet highly skilled. He took chances that few strikers would dare. At times he seemed to take competitive pleasure in the absolute annihilation of defenders. For a long period his confidence on the ball was simply mind blowing. You knew you were watching a legend in the making that simply loved the game.
