Major Lazer stopped by the iHeartRadio tent at Lollapalooza, but they weren't exactly in the mood for an interview. Watch what happened when Kennedy sat them down.

I've always found Kennedy really annoying, but she kind of rocked this interview with these openly hostile jerks, Gives it right back to them the second they flash attitude and never lets up on them. You can see their posture change when they realize she's not gonna take their crap and kiss their asses like they fully expected her to. Kennedy for the win.
She also does interviews ("interviews") for Reason magazine's youtube channel. I find it fascinating that she's managed to land so much work in a field based on human interaction.
They're not cooperating because they've probably been asked all of these questions about a million times before and the interviewer is acting like a 14 year old boy.
I know absolutely nothing about interviewing people, but I do know that it's probably not best to insult them within the first line of the interview...

NO ONE is paying Major Lazer for this interview or forcing them to do it. Do you want the refference points where Kennedy fucks up within the first min?

All this happened before Diplo and Walshy Fire ignored her. Rule 1 of interviewing NEVER put the answer into the interviewees mouth.
Oh, he will be, regardless of his current mainstream/EDM/'America's new 'Pop' sound' success. They obviously knew who she was and talked to her before the prescheduled interview. They were blatantly shitty before the interview started, so ask yourself, why did they except the interview in the first place?
