I feel your pain on people making a dinner out of security. It baffles me how people can queue and hear instructions given to dozens of people ahead of them, then look surprised when their time comes or just plain not do the thing they need to do correctly, causing more delays for others.
I'm Irish from Northern Ireland I was angry at the start in how you were treated but according to you but I actually believe you .wake up Ireland ☘️ loved by everyone but lots to do
Great Video! I find T1 at Dublin to have a far better security process than T2 and you can use T1 security for a flight leaving from T2 which is certainly something I would do, though I usually use T1. The last time I used T2 security a Canadian couple tried to take 10 bottles of Jameson Whisky through security and when they were told they weren’t allowed to take them they decided that they wouldn’t travel!
Thanks mate I didn't know I could use T1 security so that's definitely what I'd do in future. Not sure i'd want to tip 10 bottles of Jameson away either!
Neil Smith : Moments In The Sky Yes. If after going through security you turn left instead of right you go along a very quiet corridor and that leads to T2.
I've flown with Aer Lingus on long haul from Cardiff to San Francisco via Dublin and then via LAX on the way back and found them pretty good. I'd only do a one stop itinerary with them though as on 2 stops luggage seems to go for a wander! But overall i was pleasantly surprised by them. Their business cabin looks pretty good, will have to give a try one day! Great video!
@@MomentsInTheSky yep otherwise you might not see your luggage for a few days like I did both going out and coming back! I forgot to mention that I used that lounge as well recently and it definitely wasn't worth the €29 I paid.
Nice work Neil, always love a widebody on a short route and to be fair that seat looked superb. Also... completely with you about the liquids at security.
Great video and I look forward to the route with Jet2 later this year
Thanks Dan..the Jet2 video will be up two weeks today, hope you enjoy!
Awesome trip report. Their Business class seat is very nice, I'm impressed with the IFE screen.
Thanks Trip Report! I agree, it’s a lovely way to fly!
A highly enjoyable watch with plenty of useful information. Keep them coming.
Thanks Tim..more to come next few weeks!

Thanks mate - I definitely will try them long haul next year but will take your advice - one stop max!

I understand exactly what you felt at security. 10 years already? Seat looks really solid there.

Thanks Blake..getting feedback from an accomplished vlogger such as yourself means the world to me.
Neil Smith : Moments In The Sky now you’re making me blush!
Thank You for the great video . Aer Lingus is a religious airline - only God knows if they will arrive
Thank you Donald 👍
