Civ 4 are the real OG fans? Sir, I purchased and played Civilization back in 1991! :-) But thanks for the tips, these young people games can get confusing at times... :-)
I'm new to civ and this really helped 😊 I was constantly getting alerts saying my cities needed more Amenities but I couldn't see any buildings I didn't have that said +Amenities but I didn't know luxury Resources had an effect
Thanks for the tips. Started playing this on the switch, though it does have its drawbacks I’ve been having fun with it. Been struggling with the amneties and housing but both your guides helped. Ty
Yeah same here man. I’ve never been into strategy games but this one grabbed my attention and it’s fun so far. I’m struggling with building amenities though. Idk what I’m missing but I can’t seem to figure out how to build them
Wonderful guide sir, loving your channel so far, keep up the great work! I think something worth mentioning is that your first amenity comes from your palace from the start, and that you need one more amenity per two citizens to keep that city content, I think lol
Thank you! I've been playing for about two weeks just casually (a lot, but just trying to have fun not *master* the game) and amenities have been my biggest problem. I was building all kinds of crap trying to figure out why some of my cities were ecstatic and some were revolting. I didn't even realize the "Toggle City View" was there. A lot of this stuff wasn't covered in the basic guides I've watched. I was mining several duplicate luxuries and not putting them to use. As soon as I watched this guide I realized the value of trading with other nations and brought a city from -4 to -1 (my other cities were all like +3 to +5 already already haha). Now I'm working on the Entertainment Complex(es).
DDDUUUUDDDEEE. Day 5 of playing. I just councquered an entire continent, 12 cities, two conquered city states by end of turn 200..... THEN NON STOP FUCKING BARBARIANS SPAWNING AROUND EVERY FUCKING CITY. LITERALLY THE LAST 10 TURNS HAVE TAKEN LONGER THAN THE FIRST 100.
Hiya, lets say i got 12 cities and 3 copies of the same luxry resource. Lets say gypsum. Should i get rid of two copies and keep just one or will three of them provide amenities for all 12 cities? Im reffering to the part you said that one luxury resource provides amenity to 4 nearest cities. Cheers.
You can sell the extra copies, but you don't get any extra ameneties unfortunately. If you have indrusties and monopolies on you can improve them even further, though!
Probably a stupid question but I'm new.. how can you tell the difference between "basic" happiness buildings and the "advanced later game" happiness buildings that affect other cities?
I’m playing on switch and the sharing of amenities across multiple city centres never seems to come into effect, I always end up having to build in every city. What am I missing? Any way to tell where amenities are coming from or what area is being affected by the district?

Hahahah! Amazing.
Showing your age
Same. Only left right up and down. I don't think we could move diagonally.
Wasn't born in 1991
You got me beat by a few years, I started with Civ II in 1996. :D
These civ 6 guides are really helping me improve thanks
Thank you for watching BiggestBoofer 🙂

I spent more than 6 hours playing this without knowing anything about the amenities system…. I finally saw the amenities warning then just quit lol
So fair 😂

Dark, I'm in the same situation, this game can feel a little overwhelming trying to understand everything that is going on, and managing it all.

8:14 "That one was a mistake"
And i felt that.
One of the first civ 6 vids I’ve watched that didn’t feel like rocket science 👍 well done
I started with Civ 3 back in 2001 when i was 10. Been playing ever since, 1000's of hours on every title, love this game
My brain level is not high enough to play this game and understand your explanation Lol

Thank you so much this is significantly helpful and you sound like a really positive person I hope you stay that way!!
Thanks for the tips! I was always struggling with these
Flounder is your favorite? Nah bruh... it was definitely 'aMEENities'
Haha I love the awareness. UhMENities or Uhmeenities…you’re gonna rage at me no matter what 😂
Choice work bro, I'm subbing!
Thanks! 🙂
godly civ 6 content
Haha thanks dude!
Flounder :P haha thanks for this vid mate
i never knew manatees are so important.
You forgot trade. You can trade excess luxury goods, strategic resources, and gold for any excess luxury goods they have.
This helped so much thank you 🙏
Thanks for this!!!
I didn't know the water park had a nine tile radius.

Noice vid!
Cheers 😏
I did all the amenities, and they still ask for it. After that I get attack by my own citizens, I think it is bull.
Norwegians always declare war on me, now my 2nd city is like -4 amenity
I love Kiwis!
🇳🇿🥝
I always had a problem with amenities, they are the hardest part to the city
Ta thanks, looking forward to the next Poland play through!
I used to play civ like 10 years ago, I think it was called civ revolution or something. Man the game sure has changed alot
That was a spin off console version they did
@@mait3rz81 it was good though.

It is kinda backwards that extra amenities in your empire are not divided out as needed.
I'm still not sure how this works. Will the amenities always go to the first cities.
anotheeeeer ulpooooooad
Somebody stop him!
@@JumboPixel xdddd

Yea but why do I get only 12 science per turn turn 50 and the AIs has 20 ??
Half the population rounding up or down?
But what I want to know: a manatee’s what? 🤔😜
What is that mod you use that shows district icons when you click on a city?
Sorry a kiwi youtuber, what the
It’s a pavlova covered miracle
@@JumboPixel I heard Kia Ora and it threw me off guard
Wish you could take it off haha
