En mi humilde opinión ésta es la mejor versión de esta aria. No me canso de mirarla y escucharla. Calidad vocal, técnica e interpretativa de este señor Kurt Streit. BRAVÍSIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen this very production of Rodelinda 3 times live in Paris and Streit made me cry each time with this aria. I'm never tired of replaying it. So perfect in any aspect. *sigh*
A wonderful performance. I once played for Kurt Streit (BBC R3) and at the end of the live broadcast I made sure I shook his hand. Not just because he sang wonderfully, but because he was playing a God (another Handel aria...). I was, in effect, shaking the hand of God.
