I will say not greatest but neymar could come close to Ronaldo , but achieving what messi has achieved is not possible because messi won 3 ucl ,3 golden boots ,4 ballon Diors in a row,4 fifa the best and a treble and a sextuple before the age of 25 , achieving this stats of messi before the age of 25 is likely close to impossible 💀💀💀 and also remember messi despite being a winger and a goal scorer has the most assists and the most playmaker awards and the fact that playmaker awards are mostly for midfielders , btw no hate even Ronaldo is not in the league of messi forget about neymar 💀💀💀☠️

@@Unkno_n yep. you will get hate on this cmt, but you are absolutely right. Ronaldo is closer to Neymar than he is to Messi. @@saint7732 Its not the competition, the club had no chemistry it didnt care about its players and team it had no actual team play they only stacked expensive players left and right expecting to win something. Neymar was thrown out into Mbappe's shadow because (he's young and won the world cup) and later on Messi also got signed which is the whole reason he left barcelona. And later on many expensive signings were made, it was team full of solo plays, none of the player were built around someone. If he went a club where he would have been the heart if the team it would have been different. This video is unwittingly revealing that Messi has attracted the support of the establishment, whilst the "New", embodied in Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar had to be suppressed.
Messi was a re-edition of Maradona, with less charisma. The short, left-footed player is over. Cristiano Ronaldo played equally well with both feet, with the head, and all of his body for that matter. He could resolve games on his own, not depending on a team around him.
He was attracting too much money, money and attention that made the UEFAs and FIFAs of this world uncomfortable.
Messi was a good patsy to support and deflect from the NEW.

Downplaying Neymar's career is so funny. Just stats alone he has 25 domestic titles, 5 international titles, and 3 national team titles. He did not lack "work-ethic" in fact he had one of the best work ethics, bouncing back from a literal career ending injury and multiple major injuries in his career and still playing at a level that compared to Messi and Ronaldo.
14/15 and 15/16 Neymar is after his vertebrate fracture and people say this guy lacks work ethic, also THE most fouled player of the game. He was unreal at psg literally putting the team on his back to the cl final, even at Barca he performed phenomenally to get the team to their cl trophy, I don't think i need to mention his performances for domestic titles. Even going back to Santos he was their carry,. Where exactly is the lack of work ethic? People that don't play sports or have never suffered a minor injury such as rolling an ankle talking about lacking work ethic is crazy, bounce back from a sprained ankle and you can start talking abut work ethic.
He again put the team on his back in 2022 wc just for the team to first loose the ball in the middle of the field vs morocco and miss all their pens. Not to mention every national run before 22 he was injured out.
I will agree though that his career descion making has been quite lackluster. Moving to psg was the worst decision he could have made, simply put. Of course the best choice would have been to stay at barca but if he really did want to get out of messis shadow, no club was splurging 220 mill for him, psg had just received oil money so they could afford to. He would have had a very difficult time finding destinations other then psg. The move to saudi sealed the deal in terms of furthering his legacy.
