👍Looks good! I used to run a lot of those type pan cars back in the day associated 12L and 10L and even the tamiya road wizzard and Porsche types they had. FRP fiberglass reinforced plate I think it stands for... See those plastic disks on the suspension back in the day we used to stick Teflon type tape on the discs for smother shock action.
Yea, it's different from the fiber reinforced plastic..It's fiber layered plate..Unlike the fiber reinforced plastic that is blended together fiber and resin
This kit is amazing although you need to put a lot of time on the body shell. Decal hell... I myself probably spent 6 hours at lease to complete it. But when you finish it, everything worths. And this car is definitely not just something good looking. I put Hobby Wing 1060 brushed esc w/ Tamiya UGT tuned motor on it, and it runs for 40 kph (or 25 mph), and it runs smoothly and quietly. Perfect choice! Looking forward to running videos!
Heck ya bro ur just about finished with the chassis, im masking my body getting ready for paint, maybe, but ya I should have a video today. I havent put in any electronics besides servo. I also thought it was kind of weird to cut the servo tabs, I used my brand new Savox, its my first savox n I had to cut it!!!! LOL
Great choice ! I got this car a month or so, also got the aluminium motor plate. But the thing i do not look forward to is the body, it's got 1049 stickers to put on.
Very nice build bro!..Put a 13.5 in it!!..I don't think that is the standard silver can..I think its the black end bell motors that are tuned for the F1 type chassis..is there a plate stamped on it?
Why do you say it has no differential? It quite clearly has a ball differential like most of this type of car - you can even see it in the manual! They used to be common in off-road until recently too.

Great video I might get into F1 cars look forward to watching the final build and run video 😎👍

Ouch! A piece flew it away and you were searching it for many hours. Looking forward to your upgrade parts installed on the kit. Beauty!
Great video I enjoyed that buddy 😊. Looking forward to seeing that shell finished 😍👊🏻
Thanks Glen. Appreciate you “stopping by” 😎👍
Oh man.. I made this 105 sticker body... Hell of work!
Lucky #13 lol. Interesting chassis. Nice upgrades 👍
Nice kit, that's one of the Tamiya kits that I'm looking into, and am interested to see what all you end up doing with it.
Great info brother! Cool build for sure.

Oh cool it is special. Yup black endbell. I’ll have to look up what that means. Also says Johnson on it.
@@netcruzer Nice! The Johnson's are supposed to be better than the Mabuchi
use a hand cloth to protct from damaging the plastic and or losing the pivot ball
Yeah good tip. I’ll wrap it before pressing in the new balls.
You can get the TS050 Hybrid as an RC race car or as a smaller plastic model if you just like how it looks - USA: amzn.to/2Nmw3dQ
Be cool if you have a contest to win it
Looks like its going to be really nice car to run. Do you still race the on road cars?
Our local Onroad facility changed owners so we don’t have a venue right now. Hunt is on for something for this winter.
