I never clicked so fast to go on book outlet to purchase throne of glass series. Was only able to snag the first 4 books but better than nothing. Thanks for posting about it. Your videos are everything and never stop buying books. I live for your books hauls ❤❤❤
Let me just add I feel like the “ quirky” bffs I’ve read recently were all way too over the top, and quite honestly made me nock stars off the book. I love me a good comic relief bff, just not a “ added only to have one” type of bff.
I’m the one who said I’m preferring my kindle over physical books. I do still have physical books. I agree with reading on my kindle and if I love it getting the physical copy(ex. The Mind F series!). I also find the book store very calming and love going. So I’m not giving up on physical books but my kindle is lighter, easier to transport and I do feel that I read faster.
The reviews were hilarious !! 😂 23:15 lol This is exactly how I felt about 'Happy Place'. I was hearing good things about this book from my friends and I just did not feel the same way. I don't get the hype.
The reason I think reading assassin's blade in publication order is better is because seeing her past AFTER you see who she currently is makes every single thing that happened in her past hit so much harder as well as all the things that are yet to come. I could see how reading assasins blade first would make you like the main character more going forward in the books but idk the publication order was done that way for a reason and I loved it. Assasin's blade is also a bunch of smaller stories so I know some people found it boring to just read all these random stories about a character you don't have a connection to yet. But regardless...I don't think there is a "wrong" way and you will still like the series either way (don't give up on the series until you at least give book 3 a try btw!) :)
Honestly I prefer the new Throne of Glass covers over the old ones because they're already giving me some fall vibes. I totally live for this book haul. Keep up the amazing work, Lauren & Amanda! ✨💖 I have a personally fun question for you. What's the most underwhelming book you read this summer?
9:01 CRYING SCREAMING THROWING UP HIIIII THATS ME (actually crying here) I agree, I meant it in a way they just stop producing the old covers. At times, they are a whole lot better than the new covers. Also, I (sometimes) feel like reading the movie/show because of the cover. 11:28 I started The Spanish Love Deception multiple times, but COULDNT get into it; the main character girly got on my nerves from the first page. 12:08 I love watching movies and tv shows of the books mainly so that I can see these characters irl-ish as well as I can critique but sometimes they get me into reading those specific books. But adapting all the popular books into shows/movies is getting a little bit boring. I honestly don’t think I will complete His & Hers this month; I am reading Bunny along with it so that I will keep going but I am not understanding Bunny and I really want to understand it (idk what’s going on)
I prefer to read assassins blade first, some of the stories you do hear about from there is in throne of glass. I’m in the 3rd book in the series and I’m not confused from doing this order
See I felt like that for “And every morning the way home gets longer and longer” I was ready to cry my little heart out and I when I didn’t I was like damn do I not have a heart 😂
To each their own, but in my personal opinion, you should read assassin’s blade the very last. It explains what happened, and why she is the way she is. It’s phenomenal! Probably my favorite book in the series!
Yay! Thank you for including my comment!! I did not like In five years lol overly rated! Lol love this video. Also, what order should I read throne of glass series? I just bought the first 3 books in Bookoutlet lol and i didn’t buy the Novella. New fantasy reader here
It’s up to you, if you want to read in chronological order, the prequel novella novel (assassin’s blade) has 5 short stories that takes place before book 1 (Throne of Glass). Some people prefer to read it first, while others prefer to read it after book 3 in the series (Heir of Fire) which was publication order. Its personal preference! I read assassins blade first so I could read the series in chronological order and I loved it that way
100% agree with enemies to lovers doesn’t belong in contemporary romance! it’s always so forced like the guy will be like “i’ll burn this place down before i ever be with you” umm sir that’s arson 🤨 you have a 9-5 please behave 😭
0:27 I'm starting a conspiracy theory that Amanda owns BookOutlet and THATS why she always conveniently knows about the sales 4:19 THANK YOU for such a legendary introduction LOL 4:20 no way my grammar was that bad what was going on that night 4:33 This moment was hilarious lol 5:20 I could never abandon my pages 7:34 ABSOLUTELY it just does NOT work as well compared to fantasy! 8:04 LAUREN lol 8:25 I feel like the difference is that the character needs to have at least one 'down to earth' moment to make them feel real. Thats why Kenji is amazing. He had moments where he had to get serious or real with Juliette. It made him feel a lot more real. 10:46 I almost spit out my soup oh my gosh 11:04 Twilight. Phantom of the Opera (the movie). Divergent. 11:07 I need to add to this: Spicy FAE books are overrated 12:10 AH I definitely don't feel the same lol. I personally love it because I'm proud of those authors! As long as effort is put in to keep the heart of the story the same then I don't mind. 13:44 that roast was personal lol 16:15 WHY IS THIS SO ACCURATE LOL. I love Ali and kind of like SJM but the writing is definitely a blend of them both lol. 17:16 These are hilarious oml 18:51 NO 😂😭 20:05 I'm DYING people are so vicious lol 21:21 It's definitely scary but if they're at least funny about it then maybe I'll survive LOL This was probably my longest comment ever but this video was SO fun oml LOL 28:13 You always accidentally talk in an accent 28:42 what were you guys drinking in this video I'm dead Laurens laugh always gets me
My unpopular opinion is that I hated Daisy Jones and the Six. Like it was so bad and I read the whole thing because so many people love it. It was dry AF
Annotating is just a Booktube FLEX... Unless you're in school, there's no good reason to do this... Just reread the book 😜 Addie LaRue was BRILLIANT 🙌🏽 I've read it 3 times and it's my Co-All-Time FAV with Evelyn Hugo... I have SWORN never to read Sarah J Mass 🙅🏻♂ Normal People adaptation is better than the book... I haven't read GoT books, but I'd say the series, sans the last season, is better 🤷🏻♂ It seems like Fourth Wing appeals to "casual" fantasy readers... All the true fantasy people have been unimpressed
You guys can be sooooo funny/ silly; AND I LOVE THAT BECAUSE IT GETS ME GOING!!!😋😋😅😆😉😅😂😂😂 Do you send damaged books back to Bonus Books? I think the price of books is OUTRAGEOUS! Esp. softcovers. I prefer hard covers and although I have owed a Kindle for yrs. I never use it because I prefer the REAL book; had or soft cover. Just like the feel, smell, the bookmark. Yes, I know, to each his own. Went to a BAM yesterday w/ A friend! First time, didn't know it was 45 min. away!! YEAH! Spent $103.93!!! Got 7 bks. (🤔) 3 were used hardbacks. So FUN though!
The silent wheeze laugh 😂 that’s when you know it’s a good time.

The sponsored by cheese comment made me LOL! Totally agree lmao

Def read Assassins Blade first, definitely helps in making the series tie together

when I noticed the ToG on BookOutlet I thought I was dreaming! I didnt notice all of them at first, only books 1-3.
We thought we were dreaming too 😂
Who else is rewatching the bloopers

🙌🏼🙌🏼
Assassins Blade first for sure!!!
🙌🏼
I've only read Assassin's Blade and it made me wonder if I wanted to read more of the series because I kind of dragged myself through them. 😬
The rest is definitely worth the read! Assassins blade was just a good starting point as we see characters from it throughout the rest of the series!
I normally get ugly covers on my kindle n buy physical special or beautiful covers
I have not read any of those books yet so I think I will just have to start somewhere ❤❤❤
Ravenhood is my Ride or Die. It's my #1 😢❤
It was so good!! 😭🫶🏼
Sometimes if the book is pretty badly damaged, book outlet will do something about it.
We didn’t know this!!
