What's crazy is that Davis is also a super nice guy. He taught a class when John was out of town and while we were drilling, I asked for clarification on something, and he demonstrated it just for me and my training partner instead of just telling us what to do. Dude is always smiling. Great guy

Hey good shit. We rolled a few months back at a open mag in MPLS. Davis is fun to watch. Peace man

Garry Tonon did this a bunch of times at an ADCC trial, he calls it an Arm Spin Escape. Danaher also teaches this but actually turns the escape into an Ude Gaeshi throw.

If someone gets a good enough grip and is mean enough, this dude is gonna break his own neck trying to spin out

Imagine that ever happened in BJJ the opponent would be scared for life,
Heck if that ever happened to me I wouldn't sleep for years properly

What you saying does not make much sense, his a pro, what you see here he probably trained it thousands of times in the gym, after that much training you will get a good understanding on when to use risky moves and when to not use them, if someone has a good grip on him he most likely won't use that move but deal with it in a more traditional way

It's true but what Gordon didn't mention is that he let Davis start with a locked in RNC. Still impressive given how good Ryan is at late-stage defences but it didn't happen in a normal roll like people think.

I believe Jesus is who he says he is. One thing that happens when someone asks for forgiveness, they wish they did nothing wrong.
