- This is a lovely stitch to add to entredeux, particularly for boy's outfits! Detailed instructions are given in my e-book: Edge Stitches For Entredeux. This video compliments the instructions, showing how to start/stop new threads.

I cannot wait to try this stitch It’s so beautiful! Thank you Kathy!
I enjoyed watch you do the stitch and detailed information on how to do it on a board. I am going to try it.
Thank you Kathy, Very interesting stitch. Looking forward to more.
Looks lovely! How did you do the first row of stitching to make the holes?
The holes are the entredeux, which is applied when you sew.
How do you start the Antwerp stitch at the very beginning?
because my stitches were going to be enclosed in a seam, I leave a 2" thread hanging at the beginning and end. After it is sewn into the seam, I trim off the excess. However, you can start the thread in the same manner as I show the start/stop for joining new threads (around the 10th minute), leaving a tail to start with and then weaving the tail behind the stitches to hide the tail.
