What dd you all think of episode 2 of Constellation? What the heck was up with that Wolf? Thanks for the support.
Alice 1 calls her mother ‘Mummy’ and Alice 2 calls her ‘Mamma’.
Haha, wow, crazy that they put that little detail in there.
I think they hold their tablets differently too. Also two plaits versus one
Great video as always. Thanks for doing each ep separately. Most reviews do all 3 at once and they skim a lot of important things
Thanks! I am happy to provide some entertainment 😁
This riveting episode was intriguing and the feeling of dread was so good. I really like the acting! I look forward to your summaries because I want to make sure I didn’t miss any of the craziness!! The going back and forth, time skipping does confuse me. I’m invested too!! ❤
I'm thinking that machine makes copies of people. Irene's "sister" who is the dead Russian in space. Henry's "twin brother" interview from the yacht? That's why they smell different.
Oh wow, I didn't even realize the Henry twin thing. I just thought that he was going by a nickname during the interview, lol
Damn
I’m binging this rn
Bout to watch episode 3
This was a great take. Forgot all about the yacht. This is gonna be a good show.
I will episode 3 recap out today 😀
I am one of those you mention that enjoys the 'what the heck' phase -- and so far your 'explained' videos are not spoiling that (which suits me fine!). It's usually the final dumb exposition finale that sees my hopes of a great story plummet to earth just like Jo in that space-pod.
That quantum computer thing is definitely fucking with the timeline. That much ive surmised
Small correction: The family cottage of the Ericsson's is in Northern *Sweden* and they speak Swedish. Noomi Rapace is one of the most famous Swedish actresses.
Alice that doesn’t smell good has a mole above her lip and a light scar on her forehead.
Nice job just subscribed glad I found you!
Thank you!! And welcome!
I really like your review style! Thank you
Thank you!
I'm with you, I don't think we're gonna know the entire thing until the final act of finale. The finale will then open like a million more questions for season 2 certainly
Great recap and review. It’s like you’re in my head. LoL I’ll be back for the next episodes.
Thanks! I hope being in your head is a good thing 😅
Loving the theories for the show
This show reminds me of Fringe. Where there’s parallel universes and somehow some of the characters got switched or go back and forth.
I dropped off from that show, I think, a few seasons in. I've always wanted to get back to it at some point.
ben kinsgley failure to hang up the call but acvting like he had was my favorite part!
That bald old man is not Ben Kingsley lol
Haha
Do you think the cosmonaut is an alternate Irene? There is a resemblance IMO.
D o you meqn the dead astronaut from Ep1? I think it's possible, but after watching Ep2, I'm leaning towards it being her sister.
Maybe the wolf was an ominous sign or foreshadowing of what’s to come? I thought it was weird too.
Anthony, I came looking for some explanation of what the hell is going on because I thought the show was going to be more like "For All Mankind" in the sense that only classical physics is part of the show, nothing mysterious like quantum effects or whatever sci fi is going on. I was about to quit watching but listening to your take on it and some of your observations you brought up have given me a major clue as to why I should continue to watch it. Thanks.
I love to see this! You're welcome. Hopefully, the show picks up for you
It’s the tesseract giving another alternate reality that’s all
After having the tenacity and mettle to survive that unlikely journey back to earth, her cowering reaction to the wolf seems a little weak.
The wolf in my opinions maybe connected to "the wolf is now at your door" the humans she think will save her are really wolves ready to attack
That's an interesting theory. Hopefully, they will come back to that in future episodes.
Big Bad Wolf at your door. Better watch out.
Irene and Henry I do believe know what’s going on and take meds for perhaps as you said. They have a past shared experience.
Not sure but didn't the family dog have a bad reaction to Jo?
If that's in episode 3 (which I haven't seen yet) then maybe lol
Irene & Henry know more, but I don’t think they know everything that’s going on. & I think the language is Swedish.
There is not 2 Jo’s there is only 1 Jo (from before the accident) Henry told Alice on the playground mater can be black or white or both black and white. I think original Jo is jumping between her original realty and the one she finds herself in. That why when she lands she is like eww to esa dude because she never had an affair with him
I'll talk about this more in my recap for episode 3. But I still think there are multiple different versions of all the characters.
I love this theory. When Jo finally jettisoned from the ISS, I thought the person looking thru the porthole kinda looked like Jo. Probably way off but I haven't watch ep 3 yet so that's my excuse...
Great point
I really appreciate your great reviews! To the point , informative and entertaining, but not so rushed that I can’t keep up. After watching your review for episode 2 (I haven’t seen episode 3 yet), I’ve gotta say I think I have totally missed the boat. I got that there are two Alices, but I thought there was only one Jo. I think I need to pick less complicated shows. I’m really enjoying “Constellation” so far, but I may have to give my brain a break now and again with some 70’s Galactica😄
Swedish not Norwegian
Just started the series, loving the reviews
I think one version of Joe also cheated on her husband and the other didn’t. From the way he was acting I think it was the blonde haired dude who the dad was pressing
I didn’t catch the daughter not knowing how to speak Swedish and not understanding her mom, I genuinely thought the kid was just being a dick 🤣
I'm sticking with it but this is starting to feel like Prometheus, a great premise sabotaged by poor writing. Some of the scenes are so contrived and impractical. Every part of the spouse/ child being raced to Mission Control during a crisis seems unbelievable. Bringing the family to the recovery site? Also rings untrue. The entire "ghost hand unlatching the rescue pod" gives me ick - let's say there are three realities, the black the white and the grey. So they can physically interact with each other? Is that where we are going? And the completely out of place wolf in the desert attack, which could only serve to underscore she is not of this earth, is still completely out of place.
