For your dedication to your Mary and LOVING her "in sickness and in health". I want to tell you (and Mary) that you inspire me and helped me realize so much in my life. I've been in a new relationship with my "dorky red headed handsome man" for nearly 9months now and he was there for for me through THICK and THIN this past summer when I contracted Lyme Disease. I needed help walking to the bathroom this summer and was constantly exhausted with fevers and so sick- without him or my parent's support I would have never gotten better. I finally found the one my soul loves :). And I found that because I told myself that I was WORTH too much in this life to stay with a guy who didn't worship up me in a kind and caring way. So when I found Corbin, I realized that because of you guys- I would never in my life settle for a relationship that wasn't pure love. It's amazing because I know I found my forever and the feeling is extraordinary. To know I'm so loved by him in the way I love him makes my

I am so interested to see how the needle works out too! They have a 3/4 inch in right now, but when we deaccess and re access for the first time, we will be able to see what needle size will fit best :) Thanks for understanding the behind the scenes stuff of having a port :)

I absolutely LOVE the love that Ollie has for Mary. When she came out of surgery and was coughing in post op recovery, you could see Ollie was concerned and just wanted to be up there with Mary. SO glad the procedures went well. I've had several power port and dialysis caths placed and while it's not a really hard procedure I know it does hurt for a few days. Much love to you both.
Oh and the rash from the BP cuff are petechiae...basically little blood blisters under the skin from the squeezing of the cuff and shouldn't cause too much pain or itching...It happens to me all the time too and I sometimes get huge bruises on the backs of my arms from it squeezing my upper arm fat lol
Ollie was sure wanting to get right up to her while she was couching so hard... Sure can tell he loves his mommy.....
I know that my service dog is VERY protective of me.

I was thinking, you should consider making some merch with a "thumbs up". I've noticed that gesture is kind of your signature thing. Whether you're having a difficult time (like after surgery or during coughing fits) or just enjoying yourself, you always give Peter (and us) a thumbs up. And I really really love that. You are such a beautiful and strong individual.

My mother had a bronchoscopy once and the coughing afterwards is so awful. She does not have CF so I had never heard her cough like that before. I cried. I'm glad the procedures went well and I'm glad that Ollie can go with you almost everywhere!
Elisha he's a service dog so O.R.s and other sterile rooms are the only places service dogs aren't allowed to go. Otherwise, it's up to the discretion of the handler.
Praise God for a successful procedure! Letting us all come along is such a great gift, thankyou! Mary & Peter, you are on our prayer list at church and you are mentioned with the others during "prayers for the family ". All of us " people" are praying for you , love to you! 💝

you're a super trooper Mary, I was so glad to see on your instagram yesterday that everything went fine. I will admit though, seeing you get ready to go into the op room, put a big lump in my throat as i thought i was going to cry. I got my very first port in August, and I was SO scared, my husband wasnt able to be there and so I just felt so alone in that time, but I mean you knew you had 4 different things to be happening and you really didnt show any nervousness. I hope you do well with your recovery!
I have Cystic Fibrosis and can on hope to have a husband as supportive and kind and have a relationship like yours when im older 💜

I'm having surgery on Monday and seeing Mary so chill before her surgery makes me feel better. They're adding in an endoscopy too but the primary reason is to get my gallbladder out. I'm so nervous!!!

So glad it all went well. For all three of my central lines they were able to use the same vein. It's possible the scar tissue you feel is the tube from the new one. Ugh I hate when the BP cuff breaks blood vessels.

Sorry didn't know you were kidding. I asked someone why they don't pefer the pet to be babied and they told me cause it can confuse them when working. You treat them as your employee. That's how they learn to become great service dogs.

While I am lucky enough to not have CF I do have chronic illness and the way you two deal with living with chronic illness has helped me be a happier, better version of myself even with Lupus and bone degeneration.
