Knox is back again at EICMA. As well as exhibiting on our own stand, we take a bit of time out to check out the latest new models for 2024.
The fourth video in our series from EICMA is a quick first look at the 2024 Honda CB1000 hornet.
Expanding Honda's Hornet range, the new CB1000 hornet heads up the range. With sharp styling, a Fireblade derived motor and what can only be a competitive price point, the Hornet looks like it will be a popular bike. Not everyone wants the absolute latest arm wrenching Supernaked from the likes of KTM or Ducati, and we assume this is the gap that the CB1000 hornet looks to fill.
Hopefully, we'll get the chance to ride one soon!

Honda keeps it sensible and it will be a massive seller when the price is great like her 750 sister. I want one! Some think 150 bhp is rubbish, well that's because they never explored the full potential of a bike with that kind of power. 150 is plenty!
anyone who thinks 150bhp is not enough is a clown.
on the streets, whoever thinks 150hp isn't enough doesn't know what they're talking about. you can put this up against any 1000 supersport on the streets and you're not gonna lose the hornet.

Not my cup of tea ……. I ll stop with my beautiful cb1000r black edition.
CB1000R looks 10 times better and much better than any Italian junk.
I think they've done a decent job with the styling in general, but the pedal-bin exhaust is enough to put me off. Yes, there are emissions rules, but not every bike resorts to this.
It’s either that or a larger Center cat. Just get a slip-on.

I want a Super Duke top end level naked, I just can't afford one, so I was really hoping the rumors about this new CB1K being on par with the S-1000 naked proved to be true 😔
I guess I'll be sticking with my ZX-14 for a while longer.

Honda finally built a Kawasaki. Only the big can is their own invention.

Like all Honda motorbikes it will certainly be an excellent motorbike with a good quality/price ratio and it will certainly be pleasant to ride also because it has a 180 as the size of the rear tire for a thousand and uncommon they used the same philosophy as the 750.
Because from a stylistic point of view Honda is a little lost on copied motorbikes.......this is a mix between Ducati and Kawasaki, it has no personality!
I saw the interview with the person who designed the Hornet 750 in the Honda style in Italy and they almost didn't want to take credit in the end they said that the only thing they actually designed was the tank, the rest was imposed by the parent company to keep costs down .

Well, honda kind of ripped of kawasaki with the z1000. Which came out before the streetfighter by a good... 5-10 years at least?
