    The São Paulo picture is actually Rio and the Rio picture is actually São Paulo.

      Exactly. Makes you wonder how much this expert knows about Brazil and the quality of his analysis. If one makes such an obvious error specific to his area of expertise it makes me wonder what other errors he makes and is unaware of. Just too many comments made that revealed to me that he is a neophyte in Brazil. I have been in Brazil for nearly 20 years. I can see what this opportunity is or what it is not without leaving my home in Southern Brazil. It is a "No Go" at multiple levels from my perspective.

      @@jlennertz4018 I mean, I get it, it's a like a realtor from Florida mistaking New York for Long Island and vice versa, it's quite off but as long as he knows well the area that he represents (the northeast), he could be on a good deal.
      But the english part is inaccurate, most people don't speak english and if you want to live there and "be part" of the community, you'll need to learn Portuguese, no way around that.

      @@m99226 A professional in real estate would not mistake locations in an area where they portray themselves to clients as an expert. I doubt that he has spent significant time in Brazil. He completely overstates his competence specific to Brazil. He is only trying to sell a singular project. He represents a project and not real estate in the region. Anyone interested in Brazil needs to understand this fact. Due diligence is the only thing that protects the consumer, especially in a market that they do not personally know, if pointing that out is too harsh then I am fine with your position on my comments.

    I love an expert that does not know when he gets the fotos of the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro mixed up. Could it be that he is not an expert on Brazil? I think that is the fact of the matter. I would also point out that he does not know that São Paulo is not pronounced "San Paulo" . . . no expert here. I would be embarrassed to associate with this so-called expert. I can't imagine any amount of money that would be enough to associate myself with these experts. If you want to know about Brazil then talk to someone who actually lives in Brazil.
    As far as most Brazilians speaking English, this is not the case. I have lived in Brazil for nearly 20 years. I will tell you that this is not the case.

      Yep. It's Sewn Pow Loo. And over 90% of Brazilians aren't conversant in English.

      @@JewandGreek This is accurate. I am American, live in Brazil, and speak Portuguese. Outside of a tourist area, I only hear English when I am with my American family, a Brazilian friend who wants to practice English with me or on rare, less than 1 time per year, occasions someone in my vicinity speaks it. To say that you can be 1 hour south of Forteleza and have no issues finding people to speak English is complete fantasy.

      I love a salesman pretending to have an expert level in something so that he can lie to you in his sales pitch. Shameless to its core. If the demand was so strong in this region of Brazil then why discount the sales price?
      This developer is not a speculative builder. Therefore, they collect funds from buyers before they start construction. Being debt-free without unfinished projects is the result of their business model and not operational performance. Speculative building is not common in Brazil due to the cost of construction loans. Therefore, you self-fund, ie no debt, or you secure pre-payments. How stupid does the presenter think that we are?
      In my opinion, this entire presentation is more about delivering profits to the presenter and his partners than it is a true opportunity to potential clients.

    This investment opportunity is really outstanding. No wonder that it was sold out within 2 hours. I love very much John's way of presentation. This year his dauther was not part of it. Hopefully there will be more of these great opportunities in the coming years. "Beachfront, beachfront, beachfront ... "
