What is it about UT and their pronghorns? They see a coach, the coach is doing great, winning games or maybe he's part of a coaching staff that is very successful... so... they money whip the mindless sap so that he forgets about reality... the reality of where he is presently and the success he's enjoying. But like a moth to a flame, he goes to the 40 acres of metropolitan mess... and there, he gets comfy... he starts to believe he REALLY is in the "best" program (name the sport) in the best city... and eventually he wakes up one day from his comfy nap where he's been eating steak and lobster and driving a burnt orange Volvo station wagon and he puts his bongos aside and tells the mimes and hippies on Guadalupe he's been jamming with that he has to go. He has to go because his program has done NOTHING and the A.D. has already scouted another epic, promising new coach. But our comfy coach will retire nicely because they owe him the remaining 6 years of his contract. As the new coach passes the old coach on the way out of his luxurious office, the new coach says, "hey, you forgot your bongos!" "Keep 'em," the old coach says, "there's a jam session tonite on 6th St., you'll need em."
Every ut player that stepped up to take a free throw looked absolutely rattled. Outstanding job students!
