Who’s here after joining the big 12? As a UCF fan I’m watching some good highlights of teams we’ll be playing at. Can’t wait to play at mostly full stadiums. Even in Texas techs down years I don’t think they ever had below 70% capacity. Which would be more total than most AAC stadiums.

Texas will regret joining the SEC. Financially it makes sense, but it will be much harder for them to have winning seasons as a result. Plus, this is just going to make college football boring. It's going to be all about the SEC. I'll find something else to do.
The same disappointment applies to the Dallas Cowboys.
@@leroyrussell8766 It looks like the powers that be are angling toward 2 mega conferences growing out of the Big 10 and SEC. There's a chance even USC and UCLA will go to the Big 10. Everyone that cannot get into one of those conferences will be out in the cold.

I'm not a Texas fan but I can easily tell you why they find ways to lose.
Texas don't play defense anymore like they have morphed into a team that has a really good offense but can't stop anybody over there last few years really since Mack Brown left.

There’s nothing wrong with getting under center with 4 and 1 on the goaline ….understand the new wave but it’s okay to have three phases of offense…shotgun,under the center and having a goaline offense 💯

Honestly, it's been rough for both of these fan bases in the past decade. Both used to jockey for position in the Big 12 along with Oklahoma. Tech never got over the hump, but they still had matchups that have Texas and Oklahoma fits. Now as conference realignment happens, it appears tech is the the better spot. With UT and Ok out of the way, Tech has a bright future. Texas is limping into a tough SEC. Good luck. I really mean it.

Are you a Wolfpack fan? If so, my hat is off to you. I have heard nothing but great things about the way our people were treated at the game as well as our injured player in the hospital. I even heard that some Wolfpack people came to visit him. On some of the message boards, lots of Texas Tech people are saying that they are NC state fans now

Some of the worst defensive football I have seen from Texas in a long time. 34 points is respectable, especially from a backup. And that SHOULD be enough to beat a middle of the road team. Texas tech showed great poise by keeping their cool down by double digits in the later part of the game. Kept grinding, kept making plays. Great football game! And great highlights as always from the best CFB channel on UA-cam!

I don't think you can underestimate the emotion from TT going into the game. This is the last game my 🤘 will play at Jones Stadium. Until we leave for the sec TX and OK will have a bullseye from the rest of the Big XII. You saw that tonight when OK lost to KSU. This is desperate times for Big XII fb.
So you have a rookie coach and he has the highest rated recruiting class in TT history. They needed this desperately to prove to these kids that TT is on the rise.
As for the game they didn't do anything special to beat us. They're goal was to run as many plays plays as possible to wear us out and they succeeded. We have very young ol and defense and we have to take our lumps. I had a notion this summer and I said so on TX boards that TT will overachieve and win 8 games. This is going to be a wide open Big XII this year.

I also said Tech would surprise people this year cuz McGuire motivates players. Baylor players wanted Joey to move up to head coach when Aranda was hired. I did too. Joey hung around after the 2-7 season waiting to see if Aranda was gonna get fired, then left after 12-2. I knew Tech would get better immediately. I predicted preseason that Tech would beat my Bears this season and I still think they will.

Texas does not have the talent advantage people think they have. Therefore, they can't just line up and beat people. They have to play well for a full game. if you have superior talent your room for error is wider. Texas doesn't have that room for error.

Texas outcoached. It is impossible to win the game when the opponent knew which option Texas uses. Sark's plays are too predictable. The only hope is to get best recruits like Alabama for "predictable? still no problem" strategy. Sorry Hudson Card but I don't think he is the ultimate solution.

They opened against ULM a small school that is barely division one, Bama, a real division 1 team ripped them pretty hard and now they lose to a weak sister in the Big 12. Money can overcome a lot of things but it can't make you play better than the talent it thought it bought.
