I had one in the 1960s. My favourite British four stroke parallel twin, I much preferred it to the contemporary 500 and 650 Triumphs I owned because of its sweet motor and greatly superior handling. It vibrated a lot less than my 650 AJS (which lived up to the model’s reputation for eating cam followers), and the less said about my 700cc Enfield, the better. I’ll just mention that a few weeks after I sold it, I saw it as a mangled wreck by the roadside where it had crashed.
I had the A10 version 1960. Those parallel twins were the best in my opinion.
What a sound!!!!
Its good to see these old bikes up an rolling.
My first bike was a 56 BSA like this one....16 years old....it threw a rod a few months later and I got my forst Harley...also still at 16....
I noticed the oil cooler. Very nice bike.

Looks and sounds lovely, but looks like it could need a rebore and new pistons going by the smoky oil tank and exhausts.
No piston slap.....
