It is the first game in the WWE series and the thirteenth overall in the combined series. It is the sequel to WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 and is succeeded by WWE '13. @@qmg143 yes the game’s code reads your moveset as a bug even though they give you the option to change it, and it won’t play it unless you default it. I had the same issue and I figured it was the moveset because any other time the cutscene would load until I changed his moveset.

I loved this new direction they took for RTWM in the game. It was ballsy considering how well it worked in previous games due to how simple yet effective it was. But this was a tall task and I think they did really good. Sure there’s a lot of “push Y for cutscene” matches but those usually lead to some pretty cool moments. I would love to see this come back in a future wrestling game where all the stories take place in one continuous timeline
We should be able to pick a superstar and play through their career with random angles occurring.

Funny enough, I recently got this game again as it was one of the ones I haven't played, I did like the story but the Universe Mode had some nagging issues, but I found a way around it and have been having quite a bit of fun with it, the cutscenes we get in this game are awesome, and some of which I haven't seen in any other Universe
Look man, 2010-2011 was when I was getting into wrestling and that ending with Burn It To The Ground just gave me chills. Also the shot of Cass looking at the top of the arena and seeing all the fans is unironically Very Good
