When you can whistle and a male Lion changes his direction, obeys you, and follows, that’s amazing, and LAUGHABLE! 😂 I love the leopards, and all of them, but I don’t care how many times I see the lions, they are still the most amazing and majestic animal on this planet. 💕

Exactly, he was doing what a lion does to maintain his dominance, giving the girls a tune-up was all, nothing malicious. I do have to say, though, that big lioness is just a bloody gorgeous animal, am thinking she'd make amazing babies
Their roars are incredible. I could feel their energy and force 🦁
i'm what they call a wildlife expert.... The big fluffy ones are fact checking the other Tigers in the area when they roar so that they get eaten by the elephants first. Those elephants sneak up behind the Tigers and skewer them with their face antlers, beat them to death with their powerful noses and eat them

Side note, I love how Kevin pays very close attention to them when he walks with them. Kevin knows not to let them get any ideas about grouping up on him- it's their instincts, it's tough love with lions. I love this channel.
yeah i was thinking the same, i dont think many of the ppl watching understand what you just said there!
Kevin raised these lions since they were cubs and even used them in a movie, so none of them will hurt him. I think both the lion kings see him as their elderly sire. And since Kevin isn't acting in a dominant and non-threatening way, they simply accept him in their coalition.

@@appleheadrobb3391 Number 1 mistake is assuming wild animals won't hurt you. It just takes one lion in a bad mood to end him. Even if said lion was just fooling around. I'm certain he knows the risks and that's why he always sure to be aware if his surroundings. In this vid he didn't expect the lion to fight with the lioness. He can't predict them 100%.

I know we should not envy people, but I can’t help but be envious of Kevin. To be able to have such a close, loving bond with a powerful, apex predator must be incredible.

Kevin, this was a wonderful video. Thor was truly asserting his dominance today. It’s amazing how he puts everyone in their place, but with you he’s so loving. Thank you for giving these beautiful lions such a wonderful life. It’s not like they’re in captivity because of the fantastic way you treat them. They could not hope for a better life. @@thedarkforest_46664 I remember a video several months ago where Vayeste snapped at Kevin’s hand. Kevin had good reflexes and quickly drew his hand back. Then there was another time Yame (I believe it was Yame) growled and snarled at Kevin. Kevin was on the outside of the enclosure at the time. But for the most part the lions love and respect Kevin. He is truly part of the pride. I so admire him for the time, love, and dedication he puts into saving our wildlife.

@@adrianc6534 So true. Most of the lions would not have lived this long in the wild. They would have either died from territorial fights, poaching, or canned hunting. Or as I prefer to call it, canned murder. I remember an interview Kevin did a couple of years ago and he indicated Vayetse would most likely have been a victim of canned hunting had he not rescued him.
@@Debra.Justice Good example of how long these lions are living for and the quality of their lives, would be Bobcat and Gabby. both closing in on 20 years and still so healthy and fit. Making it past 10 is good, making it to 20?! Not something I can recall off the top of my head, but that is extremely rare if I am not mistaken.
The work and care Kevin and his team put in is very evident.

Walkies anyone? Seeing Thor standing still with the breeze blowing his mane back is something you don't see every day, wow. He is stunning! It is very powerful to watch these big cats frolicking one minute and then having Thor show who is the leader of the pride with Charlie by his side. Hearing the roar from Thor and then having Charlie join in is something I could listen to all day, it's music to my ears. The girls in this pride have their own personalities however they all blend beautifully, I love all of them. Thank you for this series Kev, love and blessings to you and your team.
And when Kev told him how beautiful he is he looked back with this precious, innocent, look that was so pure
I get so scared sometimes when the lions are asserting their dominance. It's amazing how much they trust you Kevin.
I've always wondered if the lions realize how fragile Kevin is compared to them. They play rough with eachother all the time but I'm assuming they tone it down a bit with Kevin.
Yea I think they know, that’s why they never jump on him. They know he’s part of the pack so they try to keep him safe
The lions are running around and playing like kittens. Thor makes them understand that they are not kittens and he is in charge. Beautiful clip watching them play and have fun. Love being a member.

Clearly this pride was full of joy, energy, and beans today! The playfulness of the lioness was fun to see. The boys bonding was nice to see as well. The White Lions are just beyond Majestic !! So Beautiful to watch them !! So AWESOME !! You can tell they LOVE the cool air and rain !!

Thor is particularly graceful for a big cat. He's just really smooth as he glides along.
It’s incredible despite the large space they have you can clearly see their intrigue with what’s beyond. Always walking alongside or close by the parameters in which they can’t escape. So interesting and intelligent animals
They get in their little moods and establish their hierarchy now and again. I love these lions so much. Thankyou Kevin!!!

He's been quite nice this last year. He had a vitamin A defficiency and had headaches. Now he's much better!
If I recall correctly, Charlie was living with chronic headache pain. I live that way, and it's hard to be sociable with a bad headache. It's great to see him feeling better and showing that he's not a grump at heart.
Wonder if he's getting some medication for those chronic headaches. They hurt and makes even us humans crabby.🤔🤔
@@waterbird91 I think they found the root cause and addressed it. My memory is foggy, but I think he had pressure that was identified and relieved. He seems much happier.
I wish they could speak our language. It would be so much easier to help them, and so much harder for crappy people to dismiss them.

The colours in this video are pure magic. Just like the lions. Kevin is so at one with them, it's amazing to watch but my heart is constantly in my throat. Those roars are goosebump stuff.

I once heard a lion roaring in a bush in Kruger Park during a safari. It was so loud, you cannot imagine. Also, a lioness came very close to our car. She was beautiful. I will never forget this adventure in my life. 🥰

It is always amazing to watch you walk with these powerful animals. The way they accept you is astonishing.
No matter how long I see Kevin with these lions I never lose the feeling of how crazy it is that they accept him as part of the pride.
Any one of them could end you with minimal effort. It just doesn't get old. Neither does their beauty.
They are as big-hearted as they are fierce. That's the beauty of God's favored creature.

Thus was such a fun video.i love seeing Thor and his prude but today was better than usual. I loved seeing this different side of all of them. The girls especially were hilarious with their play. Thor lived up to his name and reinforced his dominance. Charlie being happy and engaged rather than grumpy. It was all around a great look at them and their personalities
