    I want to see your comments, which Round diamond steals your heart? Some people prefer the imperfection of an Old European-cut diamond ring and that’s what makes it so unique from the rest ❤
    I am personally so in love with this new ring style I created, it’s so classy yet it will spark your mind away! And if you’re subscribed to my UA-cam channel you know that all of my videos are all about brilliance and stunning jewelry pieces that will make your day 💌

      Bonnie I love your videos. I've learned a lot about diamonds from you. I would love to have you make my fiancee and my rings. I haven't spoken to him about it yet. I'm gathering my courage for that discussion lol. I doubt I'll have any difficulty getting my way. Anyway I love the old European cut with the snug wedding band.

    I used to honestly prefer old European or rose cut. So enchanting.

    I love love love old European cut, warm or faint yellow on a chunky gold band. The pairing of the east west step cut is inspirational. Gives me inspiration for my upgrade year!

    Beautiful rings … although the European cut is gorgeous I still prefer the modern cut. Pairing them with pave wedding bad is absolutely stunning. 😅

    I have to admit I’ve never been a big fan of the OEC b/c of the lack of fire, but leave it to Miss Bonnie to pick one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen! I love how the diamond’s table sits at an angle & the how points align perfectly with the prongs at 12 & 6 o’clock!! Beautiful execution!!👏🏽👍🏽👌🏽🙌🏽😍

    Bonnie I really love your personality and your passion for diamonds!! I would love to see you talking about the color grade of the different shapes. Furthermore a comparison about different carat sizes and suggestions for different finger types would be lovely. With love, Thuy

    I have an antique OEC ring and get compliments on it all of the time because it’s unusual in cut and setting. The color is warmer which I prefer and looks beautiful in all lighting.

    Will you be doing the OEC and OMC on a more custom basis? They don't seem super popular, but I love!!

    I am the proud owner of a 2.2 carat old mine cut blue-white that my grandad got in Pretoria South Africa in 1929. I got it reset on a 18ct yellow band when I inherited it. Wear it on its own because it is amazing. Unique piece.

    I’ve been waiting for you to showcase OECs. I have never liked ideal brilliant round cuts and adore OECs. In fact I prefer Transitional. For me the even dispersion of the large facets is exquisite and mesmerizing. A true disco ball! To be honest, I love your videos yet haven’t loved your entire focus on perfectly white and clear stones…I love all diamonds including white with no inclusions, but have come to love slightly unique diamonds like my 5.04 W-Z VVSI emerald cut, my light brown 2.73 OEC, and my new 3.74 I I OEC. Going to subscribe now!

    Thanks Bonnie, such a beautifully cut stone, they have to be the best because you need the clarity. I wonder if you’ve thought of an east west emerald cut in place of the two small round brilliants on your emerald cut wedding band?

    The old European cut is so lovely - which one shines more the modern cute or old European?

    • @beatagolebiewska3094
      @beatagolebiewska3094 3 місяці тому

      The modern cut has more facets, thinner girdles, and pointy cutlet thanks to modern cutting and polishing equipment. The dimensions are more proportional, so the stone sparkles more in the light in the modern round cut. But old European cut shines exceptionally well in the candle light.

    Bonnie, I didn't know that you sourced OEC!!! That and OMC are my favorites. I wish I would have asked you about it before I chose the oval I recently purchased from you. Not saying that I don't like it, I love it and the bezel setting is perfect for my clumsy self. But an OEC or OMC would have been my absolute dream. I have a smaller OEC that was my great- grandmother's ring and it is mesmerizing 😻

Btw, I subscribed to your channel years ago but recently UA-cam seems to be removing my favorite channels from my subscriptions, so I have had to resubscribe to you and other channels, sometimes repeatedly. Can you give an advice on what wedding band is more practical when you have a pave band on your engagement ring? I've heard that diamonds chip away the metal, if that's true is it better to have a pave wedding band as well, so diamonds rub against each other, or not?

    The Old European Cut is beautiful, but I have a question, does the regular Modern Round Brilliant shine better than the Old European?

    • @ByBonnieJewelry
      @ByBonnieJewelry  3 місяці тому +1

      Hi there ❤️ Modern round brilliant cut diamonds typically exhibit more sparkle than Old European cut diamonds due to their optimized faceting for maximum light performance.

    Old European def .. But I love all cuts , the uniqueness of a ring or any type of jewelry.. Ive always been fascinated about Gems, diamonds pearls, onyx .. Ive bought moissanite and I do get alot of nice compliments,, Im single soo,,,, lol lol ill go with the next best thing. lol lol.. I do own a decent pair of diamond earings from Blue Nile and they are very pretty (my birthstone) and a beautiful soltiare diamond ring. a 1/3 carat, again a preference because like u say will I get tired of it in 5 yrs? . I bought these two pieces 12 years ago , and I wear them daily . I also did a little sluthing with different settings how theylll handle long wrar and tear.. believe me im no expert , but im thinking im spending about $1600 at that time .... not today 🤣🤣 I just wanted to make a self investment for myself .. I dont own a lot but if i really like something then I slueth and see what and how I can achieve this. (looks like im working some overtime ) 😁. lol lol .. Thanks for putting info out there I appreciate it 😊 I love the oval cut just love ❤❤❤

    It's not old European if it's lab grown that defeats the purpose of being cut by hand 100 years ago
