Your co-captain has the engineering mindset and the patience of a saint for the sink test!
Very nicely done footage. I saw several familiar spots on the Gorge. The night sky and elk crossing are magical! But bear footprint probably will quickly drive my fantasy away. Day trip is good. :)
This is so much better than threads on a forum back in the day.
Aye, nosed it in rather than backing it like a trailer. Whoops for sure. See how a late morning can be disorienting?! Enjoy your adventures and working on having space for a build (not this one-yet).
Wow better sailing performance than I expected, great job.
Excellent story ! Very helpful information with lots of laugh out loud moments and really interesting chance encounters. Thanks so much for producing another wonderful video : )
I was surprised to see that heard of elk down on the river. I use to windsurf the Gorge and never heard or saw Amy elk. You must live right to have a tail wind both up and down river. Looking forward to Baja vids.
Great video thanks for sharing your experience 🙏🙏👍👍👌👌
The intro nearly convinced me to build one ;-)
Think I'll stick to my F1, though. Looking forward to the 'testing' videos
@@ratzfatz8723 I’ll have a plan ready for it next year!
Awesome 👌
Very good sailing speed with such a small sail....Brian do you intend to add a proper sail and centerboard to sail it upwind?
@@gregory1778 I go into detail about this towards the end end of the previous video, but basically yes I do have a somewhat larger sail for it, but I generally don’t think it’s worth the effort to put daggerboards or lee boards on smaller narrow boats because to really do it right you’re talking about spending a lot of time and money and then when you’re done you’re not really gonna be able to use it that much because the size and volume and instability of the boat gives you a very narrow window of wind and wave conditions that you can sail effectively in. I do have plans in the future to design a proper little sailing dinghy but first I’ve got to get this design finished!
