No I think as it will have power issue and maybe software issue too and even if it worked, you won't be able to turn the backlit off and size may be different

Same here...I was going to go inside to try to clean the keyboard connector pins. My 1,Q,A,Z, caps lock,shift,and tab buttons aren't working. Sometimes pressing really hard works but not lately. Did you ever fix your problem. Please let me know what you ended up doing to resolve your problem?
Okay, so what I did was take out the screws in the back of my laptop. Lifted the edges around the inside of the laptop and placed upside down took off bottom cover but before doing so pull out the disc drive. The screw in the middle of the back holds that in place after doing so the back can come off....you will see the keyboard connection wire. I detached and wiped it off and now it's working. I have no experience in repairs only took me like 15-20 minutes..good luck.
