VPN location to Japan or Russia it typically works best for ‘blocked’ media. Very sad all of this has to happen and I hope youtube can negotiate their music rights back. I’m a premium member too so i’m very disappointed to see my music unavailable in my country. This should probably not be a legal. I use youtube mainly for music so I and probably a lot of other people feel a bit scammed.

Just realized saying "indie" artist is a misnomer because an actual indie artist wouldn't have their music owned by anyone but themselves. I guess what I meant is like "smaller" artists are getting affected. A lot of small artists sign with SESAC because it's easier to give your song to them than having to protect your song yourself.
TIP: if you don’t want to use a vpn and have the direct link to the blocked videos, you can use UA-cam to mp3 then upload the audio to filegarden, works just fine
@@zimmergameszimmerc6077 if you're willing to pay for a VPN it should work fine, they have guides for each VPN on how to relocate to a different country. Surfshark is probably your best bet for cheapness and you're just simply looking to relocate. There's plenty of youtubers who get sponsored by surfshark anyway so you can probably find a good deal for your first few months.
Tell me about it, and it's very frustrating! I've always enjoyed listening to music on UA-cam so much, but now it has become a problem all because of stupid SESAC! Hopefully, the whole situation will be fixed and I'll be able to listen to music on UA-cam sooner or later.
