I don't understand why they wouldn't allow cars from past GTA and other rockstar games and just make it so you cant recreate cars from gta 6 if thats what they want but then again expecting the bare minimum from rockstar these days... makes me a bit worried for GTA 6 honestly
i think the concern is content PORTS as opposed to recreating them, licensing aside.
That and theres a good chance people will make a server that imitates a gta6 experience, mostly because of the 8+ year gap in system requirements.
It will be a great game technically but i do think rockstar may screw themselves from monestising everything up the yazoo.
They might understand why gtao became such a hit, or they might be so corporate now that they have lost sight of reality.
In time we will see.
Im sure if they got for example Romans car and change something sligbty its not copyright call it Jarman's car and change the headlights and grill logo

24:10 Broughy from the future, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt in that one. The drift car had moved towards the inside a bit which would have been an indication of taking the inside line on the next right-hander; before returning to the outside of the track. It really wasn't predictable enough to race cleanly.
I was struggling to keep the car straight, so it wasn't quite my intention to move to the right as much as I did. From my end the hit was sudden and relatively 'violent' due to the lag. In hindsight I maybe shouldn't have called him out for it, but then again they do always say that a lag-hit still counts as a hit. I'll definitely have to test out the drift cars on the test server though, as there is still a lot to learn there haha.
@@Phulax. Yeah, well, I saw no lag, so Broughy gets screwed again. And EVERYONE punts him, yet he very rarely calls anyone out… Until the punting gets ridiculous. He looked to be alongside you when you “got hit”.

@@Phulax.I don't think you even really moved that much at all, really. It could have just been the game misinterpreting you attempting to keep the steering straight through that section.
I'm just seeing it from Bruf's end, and that short window where your car is displayed to him as coming off of the wall and pointed towards the inside apex of the next corner gives an indication of where he needs to place his car. By the time things updated and your car was back hugging the wall again, it was too late to avoid the crash (unless full braking would have avoided it, but could have also caused a chain collision from behind).
It's very much an incident purely of the lag bubble, not of either driver.
I'm not qualified enough to comment on the callout seeing as I don't race there. Seemed harsh, but it's just how it works there; as much as I feel it's a little too trigger-happy with... certain individuals.
I do love how much the FiveM browsing experience has improved!

The next stage is R* saying you have to keep the same vehicle stats as the vanilla game. Imagine the outrage when the faster Pnumbra goes away and the advanced flags get turned on 💀

24:08 It is up to the faster car to overtake safely BUT when being lapped it is also up to the lapped car to blueflag properly. His own fault to weave around a really tight section of the track instead of sticking on one side and leaving space.
that was hardly weaving, brough had enough time to move to the inside long before getting close to the drift car
Was an amazing fight for 3rd. Damn shame about the end. Still wasn't safe from 5th either at that point. One of the most competitive ranAlls in a while, with the top 2 being somewhat close until one of them got a shit car at the end but at least Lok didn't run away with it (still lucked into 2nd tho #blessed).

Just wait until whatever GTA VI version of FiveM is monetized. That's the actual goal. Removing copyrighted content was the first step as obviously they can't monetize that content. Rockstar has hundreds of thousands of people playing their game on FiveM and getting zero income from it. Not anymore.
Maybe they think FiveM makes better cars and they want to use those now?
You still need GTA V to play on FiveM.
@@NearCry91 Yeah but think about all the Shark Cards and GTA+ subs they could get from it! As well as monthly fees to server admins to promote their server in the FiveM lists! Don't under-estimate T2's ability to over-monetize everything.

Hey Broughy does the HSW upgrade increase the rev limiter for certain cars? I see the HSW Banshee revs to 11,000 rpm. Seems like this is the highest revving car in game. Does it rev higher than the stock one and Bennys custom one?

I think broughy is correct to think...but...I think SixM _might_ be allowed to exist, same conditions with what FiveM is having will be ported over
and with what I fear coming GTAVI, it might be the sole reason I ever get the sequel, I predict it'll just be a P2W game from the start
They don't want anyone playing and not paying for it regularly. If FiveM sold shark cards then Rockstar would be fine with it.

I'd never have called out someone if I was in a drift car man... just saying.
These servers and random alls look really fun, but between lag, all the different cars, peoples driving ability (sometimes lack there of), and the prospect of getting sinbinned by an admin for the tiniest infraction, it would be hard for me to actually enjoy it i think. If it was always the same group of friends that would be fine i guess...ill never know because i dont have pc version of the game, and with rockstars recent bs im not getting gta 6....but i digress.
And also for someone who ends in 28th place by the end :D

@@ImBarryScottCSS Don't turn it around the way you want to. This has nothing to do with treating someone specially. It's wrong to ask someone to wait while being in one of the last places, as it doesn't benefit the person who has been hit. Calling out only makes sense in duels for position or if you actually have the same chances of winning the race / going the same pace.
I've been watching Broughy's videos since the first Random All and have done a few races on PH in the meantime and that's just my opinion.

Or even the HD interpretation of GTA:SA's Euros....
both those models were built from the ground up, not ported from another GTA game.
It's still basically using their designs from other GTA games, but I guess "directly inspired" is sooo different from using direct assets from the games themselves. Oh the irony in these legal copyright/license terms BS....
So you're saying that all ppl have to do to play with GTA IV cars again on FiveM is to build them from the ground up themselves, make a few design changes & it's good to go?

Adam, I've said this before and I'll say it again, YOU are not responsible for laginess of GTA5. That's on Rockstar and you should not be waiting for racers that get caught up in lag when it has clearly NOT happened on your screen. You did not need to wait. We viewers all get that you want to be a good sport, but not beyond the point of reason. See sense man.

- laghits are treated as normal hits on Project Homecoming and are calloutable, you are responsible for your own lag

Absolute hogwash! No single USER can EVER be held responsible for lag. That would be like someone bemoaning me fragging them out of nowhere in a deathmatch(chose your game) and them not knowing about my rocket until they were already dead. Where was the lag? My end? Their end? The server end? You can't tell. So who's lag was it? Adam's or the other player? We can't see it in this video, so it is unlikely to be Adam's connection. In reality, it's a part of online gaming and always has been. Adam was not and IS NOT responsible for "laghits". End of story. There is a point to being a good sport, true. Beyond that it's just nonsense special-snowflaking.

a) protection from GTA6, so if that comes to PC, people can't port GTA6 cars into FiveM
b) could argue people won't play GTA4 if they can access some of its content in FiveM (stupid argument but thats a game purchase gone)
c) copyright stuff, licenses getting expired at different times, all possible things to disallow older content to still be used on modern platforms like FiveM (less likely but idk game dev law)

doesn't matter, the car model itself came from GTA4
Needs to be an original model/textures, but can have the same performance. Modeling takes time, though and a LOT of cars got removed.
@@TheRealAlpha2 I doubt rockstar has the time to check every single car on every single server to see which ones are using models from other games. So just changes the names to some made up name
