I’m concerned that there might be a lack of slow, bog standard cars in the random all pool now that GTA IV cars and some other slow stuff are gone. I understand that the modding community might not want to create npc cars but then the average random all lap is gonna be shorter and the pool crowded with quick cars. But hey maybe it’s not even an issue if the experience is still as enjoyable as before
the median pace for vehicles on PH was the Trophy Truck last i saw, so everything removed that was faster than the Trophy Truck also brought down the average again. The perennL, Sentinel SG4s, Majimas, Turismo e.g.

I feel like lap 3 has been happening to Broughy more because he's been neglecting to stand up and stretch when these times come up.

Part of me is curious just how much of a comeback could be possible if one person had a rigged race where the first "random" car was one of the unholy trinity and then every vehicle after that was all of the fastest cars on the server. Could a top 20 be possible then?
it would depend on the track, but even then probably not
Probably. I ran the numbers for this race. Of course I did a lot of rounding and there are some assumptions, but...
The total race time of the winner was ~1518 seconds. Broughy's lawnmower lap was ~203 seconds. Now the biggest assumption comes, but you can see that the fastest lap was 48.7s and there are a few 50s laps in there from people. I took an average of 50s per lap for all the laps in the fastest car. It might be more, might be less, not enough data in the end screen so go with it.
That means that in the remaining race time brough could do 26,3 more laps, plus the lawnmower lap is 27,3 laps. The winner of the race only did a total of 25 laps so brough would have overtaken the leader before the end of the race.
Of course numbers would vary a lot depending on what unholy car you'd get, what track you're on, what the average pace of the top 30-ish cars is, but most importantly all the above is useless because traffic exists.
@@hkr667 right on, always interesting to see some numbers. Yeah so much would depend on the track and traffic. I'd imagine with the lag there would be at least a couple of sizable waits. Still interesting think about.
The beauty of a long random race is that you would assume that the, sort of, the randomness will even out by the end of the race

You had pretty decent cars in that race. If it wasn't for the lawnmower, you probably could've got a top 5.

How much V-ram do I need to play random all? I'm using integrated graphics but can play games that need 3-4 gigs
if you can play GTAV on PC you can play FiveM and thus Project Homecoming
