- Today we are (unsurprisingly) taking a look at the Eisenberg class USS Nog from Eaglemoss! A tribute to the late actor Aron Eisenberg and his Deep Space Nine character, the Nog is a wonderful new lineage of Starfleet design. So let's take a look!

I always said Nog was DS9's best example of "if I told you where they would end up after the last episode on the first episode you wouldn't believe me"
Now I suppose that's even more true
Nice review. The design of the ship took a while for me to warm up to. It is now one of my favorite discovery ships.
Thanks! The original Discovery fleet had the same thing of taking a LONG time to warm up to me. It took not just time, but seeing the fleet alongside the Ent/TOS fleets in a game and getting my hands on some of these models to see the lineages it was going for.
But even then it doesn't feel like the 32nd century fleet to me. There are some great isolated Starfleet ships in Modern Trek such as the Cerritos and... well I'm sure there's probably another one. But this is the first era of Starfleet design since Enterprise that has truly felt a part of the fleet like any other classic series with a new design philosophy.
If you dig into it most of the good modern designs are actually from the classic era. The Titan was of course designed by a fan for an old book, the Inquiry class was designed in back in the Enterprise era for an unmade game, and while they arn't my cup of tea Picard utilizes mostly STO ships. Idk exactly what the difference is but whatever it is this era nailed it for the first time in nearly 20 years!
Thanks for your review
It's pretty decent model, design is pretty unique. Paintjob is great, with a lot of contrast, and nice azetecking.
Eaglemoss just filed for bankruptcy protection. Hopefully you don’t have anything on order.
No, Eaglemoss just filed for administration which is diffrent. They may still come out of it, they may not. Many companies have done both, but any collector would tell you theres a lot Eaglemoss could likely do differently to perform better as a buisness. An administrator is here in part to find those things.
But either way I got an order shipped the day they shut down their servers, and others are still getting shipping confirmation as well. They still have their warehouses, supply lines, employees, databases, etc. Their just restricted in what they can do as someone else comes in to try and save the company.
And besides all that, they dont charge you until a model ships. So I have a few pre orders but if they go under I'll just mever be charged for them.
Those 32nd century ships are ugly
