    2:20 Assault Armor is also a Kojima weapon.
    You'd be doing yourself a huge solid if you had maximized the PA your frame gives. More PA = More Kojima damage.

      Less PA, means you can recharge it faster, and damage done/taken isn't related to the numbered amount as much as it is to the displayed bar. Because.
      Yeah the number does go up but it's super not worth it to min-max.
      Smaller total, fastest rectification, more booms, more reactive, easier time to aim said boom. Not to mention easier time to recover from oopsies.
      Even minimal PA number is already onetap AA to 90% of things. DMG+ is not required if you already kill, and you really, really do. Just have to hit dead-on, AA drops damage from distance more than you could ever gain from upgrading it.
      As for the damage taken, you can twitchdodge all of it away from all sources with luck and practice. Being "unhittable" is viable.
      Being over 30k hullhit points is just asking to be shot anyhow since weight slows you down immensely and you lose endurance disproportionally compared to not being hit over being able to take hits.

      There's a reason why GA ACs' AA is super weak and aren't used with most Kojima weapons.

      @@dangerwarg9682 I'm pretty sure. I have unreasonable playtime and i get autistic about these things. GA framesetups aren't good hitters with AA anyway, slow as molasses. Big guns and dumb amounts of bullets you never require even 10% of to finish missions. Fun tho, especially the oversized guns.
      And i don't think i mentioned GA at all. I talked about speed, not dumb armor and slow movement.
      Fat tankiness in FA really does fall outside my comfort zone afterall. xd
      K-Cannons and AA are awkward methods of dealing damage anyway, hence it's a challenge run after all, not a optimized speedrun. Yet i get the feeling using the kojima blades and some smaller guns might have ultimately worked "better" if trying to ultra optimize the run.
      The little i have used AA i found smaller amounts of PA with faster regen to work better ultimately trying to do shit with AA than trying to min-max dmg number out of it, range is set, good pilot lands dead on. That kills everything. 'shrug'

    Occupation of arteria carpals is actually pretty easy with kojima cannons. You can fly over the walls and bait them out one by one

    Just got this game and finished the first playthrough and I got to say screw that tiny room and Shinkai! At least I was able to lead Shinkai into that tiny corridor you start in and traded hits with the Kojima Blade basically 1 shotting him, then with the measly amount of health I had left I easily missile spammed the other guy to death. The other 2 endings are going to be way harder arent they?

    A light core with heavyweight arms and legs looks wild. Challenge runs are a lot of fun, I still do them in Last Raven since I don't have access to ACFA anymore.

      Quickturning in VOB will airbreak. Cycle left and right and you can absoloutely stay in the air long enough to recover your KP. Likewise, if a missile has multilock, hold down the fire button before letting go and you can clown on huge numbers of opponents.

      Its the one where you gotta destroy the satellite cannons. For some reason no matter how perfect I do that mission (Taking little to no damage, killing Neo quickly with blades) it fucking refuses to give me the S rank

    As a selfclaimed vet who consistently returns to FA to break it one way or another, yeah, sure, you can try to amp K-Cannons up but bruh, hypertwitch builds.
    I mean yeah, the tanklegs and hoverboards exist in the game but.... No. Never. Yeah, sure, i get that your weapon selection was extremely limited and you automatically went the heaviest examples available, good call but i feel highly unoptimal considering what the game is and how it plays. Thankfully you traded to more rational reverse joints so it wasn't 100% pain to watch xd.
    Mobility and speed wins, assault armor, as suicidal as it is, a mobility platform allows you to twitchdance away any retaliation, especially with slotted support equipment to shoulderslots.
    Halfway thru the video and i'm wondering why aren't you boosting/flightmoding the distances? Was AA so needy you couldn't? White Glint torso exists but that'd be cheating ig.
    And, cough, Motherwill is a singletap if you know the weakspot, so are majority of the armsforts, and K-Cannons certainly can jank the spots like 15seconds into those fights but i can't really blame you for not knowing those in a billion year old game xd
    S-Class effort and example nonethless. Golfclap at minimum and here's sum engagement.
    If you plan to return to this in some shape or fashion, try purposefully unbalancing and overloading your builds and tilt into unreasonable reactiontimes, with practice, you can use melee to "plan" multihit runs in your head by doing irrational dodge chains into bilebunkering and/or shotgun/baited stuns. No wrong way to do it and you certainly did winrar. Suspect you didn't take the last arteria fight tho, you can bait the idiots into a pile and kojima em. :D
    At least I'll know what to try next time i dust FA into my 360, thanks xd

      I thought about doing Arteria but I really needed to get the video out. I might do remake videos on these builds if they aren't that satisfactory to me. I'm a big fan of the game but I'd consider myself a newerish fan (started around 2021) so I still have some stuff left to learn. And I'll have to check out those weak spots 👀. About that overload thing, I have a nuclear BIGSOUX build in mind so I might just go full retard mode with that AC if I can

      I getchu, trying to even survive Arteria is a challenge, much less with some janky topheavy build using chargeweapons. Could have been a solid day to get the footage.
      Motherwill weak spot is dead middle of the two fat triple cannons, it's a featureless wall pretty dead center of the whole contraption, hit it with first bilebunker you can buy and it's a two if not one-tap, the train reactor is hittable with large enough explosion directly from the side on the right spot, sol dios, if killed before it launches the cannons they die along with the hull.
      Rest are purposefully gated somehow or just DPS checks.
      Supposedly if you can't range the flying kojimacannon back and forth fast enough with speedy flightsetup could be uncomfortable time but it listens to damage really promptly and destroying x part will stop the firing sequence entirely for a time.
      That's what i recall from top of my head rn, ultimately the hardest fort is the laserblade one with the one coolinghole weakspot because it sometimes just "misplaces" that hitbox.

      Superloading an AC, is also a thing tho, not that you need BOTH shoulders carrying ultradeletemissiles either :p
      Balancing BIGSOUX with opposite arm AR or minigun works absolute wonders since kojima for all it's damage, is premium and far more useful in normal gameplay at stripping PA and random burst of high caliber is that and there near instantly against lighter or even medium setups even if missile misses by a wide margin... But if keeping with kojima only rule, Akvavit(?) has in-built really bad kojima arms that might work as weightsaving finisher for the bigs.
      But yeah, max tanklegs and twin bigs, shouldered automissiles and largest boomsticks you can find, problem solved and irradiated.
      There's a lot of tips and tricks to it but most meaningful changes for myself was effing around with the AC balance, heavily favoring one side/ forward back weight wise SEEMS dumb but it alters the movement so drastically you can abuse it with melee and short-range setups to get really sus dodging and closing timers if you "combo/weave" dodges, shouldermounted/backmounted booster jank and sword activations into massive lunges.
      There's absolute shitton of mobility you get out of a unbalanced light running unreasonable burst engines and boosters.
      sustain doesn't matter if it dies before you run out of it :D
      Nothing survives multiple good sword hits and with practice you get a quadhit at the "end" of that lunge even if you don't just use white glint parts to eagledive em from boostermode with moonlight swords applying delete.
      Balancers/aerodynamic parts actually do work you know, not just pure cosmetic thing.
      It also "kinda" works in extreme ranges since AI is using mediocre target prediction, having unbalanced dodge characteristics really f's with their aim.
      I am a melee fanatic tho, your mileage may vary and i always need to spend few afternoons to make my old setups even work when i bounce back to it. Usually just clean restart saves anyhow.
      Glint ain't s if you already got a setup called "Whit Glint Killer" ready to go from previous NG+ xd
      Dunno if the extra customization points are that meaningful in FA unless trying to hit breakpoints on weight, (or trying to make that one specific build work instead of almost working) the numbers don't really alter much ultimately % wise and if mission durations are minutes/less than minute, you kind a need a big change to notice anything.
      I'd only worry about that menu if your build "almost" works before touching it.
      But i forget more than i remember anyway, i've been actively playing it at least once a year since release and it ate my social life entirely for few months on release.
      Main point, have fun with mechs doing the dumb and no setup is wrong.
