Nice work. I’ve just done those arms on my l322. That ball joint pointing down was so bad and the torx were so chewed up by a previous owner that I had to take the hub off completely to repair it. Utter nightmare of a job. Well jealous of your lift though- helps a lot!
I had the same thing on my first L322 so I bought a set of those gripper bits that lock into mashed up threads! Worked a treat!! Can recommend them for the tool box!! I also used them on the gearbox valve body that someone had rounded off!! 😊
It’s surprising how long some things can take, just remember you aren’t alone in that though, UA-cam videos are always deceiving as they are short snippets of hours of work 😃
L322’s eat ball joints and front arms! Depending on the mileage you do you will find they only last a few years! It’s a heavy car so they don’t last long! 😊

They are such a pain, but at least I know how to do them now. Sounds like you had an even worse experience than me! The lift certainly helps 👍🏻

Nice work fella. Did the same on my P38, feels so much better with the new arms and balljoints. Give it a bath!!
Thanks Tony, it’ll get a bath when it starts behaving!

Yes that seems to be the issue with them, hoping they’ll last until after I sell it, don’t fancy doing it again!
