I still never understand how people get their hair to be so flowy. Mine is always stiff when I flat iron it. Whether I use product or not.

Legally Afro Thanks so much for subbing!! The key is in the product you use and how much product. Less is always more. ❤️

Legally Afro the key is a GOOD blow dry and using a Great flat iron using a good temp for your hair . Also small sections & trim away dead/split ends!

I am the same way. I recently used the blow dryer brush on low heat setting 3 months ago and my hair didn't get as straight as in the blow out, you supposed to get as straight as possible in order to flat iron it. I am going to try it again since my hair is going to be a little longer. I am going to set the blow dryer on low heat and when I see it almost dry then set it on high heat to get as straight as possible then used the cool setting to set the hair and see if that helps instead of just sticking with the low heat setting like I saw people on youtube was doing.

Out of ALL the flat iron videos, your hair by far looks the best, and the straightest. It is so beautiful💓. I'm looking for a flat iron for my granddaughter for Christmas. She has EXTREMELY thick and long hair. Would you say this is the best one you have used?

Please is it possible to do without the blow dryer? Like you just manage to dry your hair w/out a blow dryer and stretch your hair thru twists and or hair stretching braids. I don't have a blow dryer, I was worried that it can prevent me from using the flat iron 💀💔

Hi love your tutorial , my daughter is 10 and she has beautiful thick hair, but because I do not know how to do hair, I spend a lot of money on her hair. I have a question I have a blow dryer that did not come with the comb and every comb I buy to attach comes off when I blow dry her hair, and when I try to hold the comb as I blow dry it , it becomes too hot. What do you suggest. I am going to try and buy some of the products you suggest tomorrow. Because I was using creme of nature Aragan moisture and shine shampoo and conditioner and a heat protector and it’s not working.

What, we don't use straightening combs anymore? Hey, I'm not being SARCASTIC, I'm honestly asking that question. Are flat irons supposed to REPLACE straightening combs for styling African American hair in the 21st Century? I'm about to attempt to flat iron my hair for the VERY FIRST time. I have some HAIR FOOD. Can I use that to OIL my HAIR before I flat iron it? Girl, you have a LOT of HAIR! So, I'm supposed to begin at the nape, then work forward?
