Tbh does anyone else feels Season one's format was better. This feels like Shark Tank. The reason I loved S1 was because how candid and raw it was. Just two people chilling and taking.

The most striking difference from Shark Tank is, here you have investors who advise you not to dilute your stake. Very rare.
You guys are really sweet the way you closed the deal. So damn considerate to ensure the entrepreneur kept large part of the company to raise funds in future, also promising the next round, awesome. Shantanu, what a gentleman! So anti-shark deal, instead of squeezing out equity from the founders the team here offered a better valuation at a founder friendly terms. Dream team investors for any founder. The amount of ease and comfort created during the pitch was amusing and very different from the high pressure VC talks and pitch which people usually startup founders go through.
Kudos to the TBS teamon this amazing initiative.

Great show Shantanu, all though I think the bet you took here was a bit too risky. It goes with this marketing lesson cum psychology trick we all face ie. If you get something at a discount it always looks more appealing but it isn’t necessarily the best decision you make. Saying that I think the vision is amazing by the two founders, I hope you make the best of it!
