Oh! They are so pretty and different! The location is so quiet. I love hearing your hands against wet clay or the sponge on fired clay. It really is peaceful. 😌

It's amazing that such a pale grey glaze can turn such a pretty blue after it is fired.

I enjoy your ritual and process. The water repellent, is it something you mix up yourself?

Thank you! No, I haven’t mixed anything in, in particular.

what would happen if you make sea wave like blue and white speckles and transparent glaze over all ? These flowers are pretty to look at when you are eating food. Very very pretty.

Watajima-san, do you make the glazes yourself?

I really love your Mishima flower pattern❤️ I was wondering if you use a modified slip on your bisque pieces?
I was taught not to apply normal slip to bisque pots as they will crack.
I would appreciate if you could let me know if you use a special made slip.
    Thank you😊

      Thank you.
Yes, that's true. So, when I apply glaze to bisque-fired plates, I do it while the surface of the plate still contains moisture. Please also take a look at those videos.
