I remember watching this fight live. The smile and high 5 at the end of round 1 is one of the best moments of sportsmanship that I have ever seen, respect to both boys here.
Wow. I went to the Brentwood Center & watched this fight with my 1st girlfriend 🤣. Followed N.Benn’s entire career & am now buzzing to watch the 2 sons {Eubank} fight on October 08th @ the O2. Feeling old 🤣. A Great find on UA-cam. Nice1 👍
@@martytdd1606 Benn would've got sparked sadly lol,him an eubank kept it in the UK cause they knew Toney, McCallum,Nunn would've done them in a couple round, clever business men but let's be realistic
I think Benn was quite smart and deliberately set Milo up in the first round. When Milo is near the ropes, Benn throws a jab from too far out to reach and rather than following with a right hand he pulls back a bit. Milo automatically leaps forward and fires his own jab in return (which falls short) and makes to follow it with a right hand, but Benn is ready for the missed jab and swings that lovely right hand to catch Milo coming in and get him in trouble.
I was at White Hart Lane the night he got hurt. There were no ambulances at the Stadium, the 1st hour critical with severe Brain injury. Pete Hamlan who operated said Watson was the closest to death but somehow survived he had ever operated on! A testament to Michael's spirt ❤
These were good times in British boxing. It's not the same anymore, TV networks and social media over promote fights, which look very manufactured and artificial. If you have great personalities, you don't need to sell fights. The fights sell themselves.
Neither Eubank nor Benn were the best technical boxers, but they were great fighters and had a kind of magic chemistry in there against each other. Watson was a much better boxer, technically, but less compelling.
@@keepsafeandsound6722 He just packed the fight game in and gave up..he was a cracking fighter though and was very tough and fought like a lion win or lose

Nigel had devastating power. One of the most entertaining fighters in British boxing history.
Benn is the most entertaining fighter to come out of England
Definitely by far 👍
Hello
Ben is extremely entertaining but is he more entertaining than Naseem Hamed ? ?

Reminding me of when I watched boxing with my Dad👍
Cool
I'm absolutely LOVING these fantastic uploads! Thank you so much.
Robert Perry thank you
@@davidkirkwood9537 Agreeing here from Derry N Ireland!
Nigel Benn was a badman fighter. No doubt👌🔥
Milo's fight prior to this one was against an old boxing mate of mine Lou Cafaro. Unfortunately that fight is not available anywhere.
It's those grazing shots that can really puff you up, especially when there's a cuff following it.
Eye blew up in a second flat.
God I love boxing.. great vids.. big bad Benn👊🏾
Aren't they class! Imagine that Benn V ginger stumpy wee prick Canelo! Hahaha ' Road Sweeper' Love it!

Nigel Benn. What a gentleman.

I was never a fan of Chris but you have to give it to him he's a straight shooter, says it how it is and judges fighters well-the reason he beat Benn.

Good old fooooking days 🥊🥊
Goodness me, seeing Michael Watson so handsome and bright eyed after the fight certainly bring back home the price he paid for being a boxer

probably the brainchild of Bazza Hearn - Benn facing ex-Eubank opponents, Watson commentating & Eubank in the studio! Those were the days!
Is that Prince Naseem in the audience?
@@MasterJammer @02:45 yep, good spot! 👀

🙌
Chris Eubank at the end . . . . . . . Hated him then, wish for those days now.
The man
eubank always class
Kid Milo was one hard man and a great boxer and put up a very good fight against Benn..i wish he was around today
What happened to him mate?

@@eddiegrimm9462 I will check him out sometime mate. Cheers for that.
2,44 Secs Naseem Hamed in the crowd
Kid milo was a game fella. Pity he didn't do more in his career as he looked like he was here for a fight. Seemed fit and ready to go 10 too
Is it me or has milo for a weird leading leg!?
All these guys were very good but at this time tony and Roy jones would of mopped them up Roy was the best but what a middleweight scene at the time.
2 of the 3 shots were in the back of the head
Chris did not want to fight American fighters because he lack confidence in beating them .
Messy refereeing.
Watson. Bit dull as a co-commentator.
He kinda reminds me of Lennox Lewis.
