My Drive light was out, so I decided to replace all my bulbs with LEDs from superbrightleds.com FYI: They are so much brighter than the stock bulbs, you may not like them during night driving.
DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE THE COLOR OPTION IF YOU NEED AMBER FOR THE REVERSE LIGHT. THIS LINK SHOULD TAKE YOU TO THE NEOx LED 4mm Green.

Great video. Suggestion for some folks who don't want to buy any new bulbs: Assuming you almost never use Low gear, that L bulb probably has 99% life remaining. Put the L bulb in the D spot, and put the burnt out D bulb over into the L spot, which gear is almost never used anyway. Problem solved, zero ordering, and no waiting for bulbs to arrive. I think I'll do this option. Thanks again for a great video!!!

Having the "D Light Out" is a LUXURY FEATURE during night driving with the dash light dialed to completely off, haha
I have a 2002 Tundra SR5. The Parking, Drive and Over Drive bulbs just went out on me a month ago. I’m glad I found this video. I will get on it as soon as I get them bulbs. Great work dude! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. My Drive bulb also burnt and just had no idea how to replace it until I found your video. I wanted the LED bulb but difficult to find the right part. I called the dearlership but they gave me the turn around and asked me to bring the vehicle in. No doubt they just wanted to rip me off, forget it. Your description was helpful to where to purchase the LED bulb. I did replace all bulbs with LED, not just the Drive bulb.

Chan Tse how about you just remove the L bulb and use it for the D? The L bulb is never used.
My concern is they would be too bright, and become a nuisance at night. How bright are they?
I know I am on D because the light is off.
What are all the sizes if I wanted to replace them all ? I have several out on my Sequoia , is it printed on the bulb

Best to get the bulbs where one does not have to worry about putting them in and then having to turn them 180°. I forget their proper nomenclature, but knowing this you'll find them.

2 points for other viewers 1) to remove the wire harnesses depress the tab on the top of each plastic square then slide out. 2)to remove the light use a thin flathead and turn the bulb counterclockwise 1/4 turn and then use the little screwdriver to remove it.
I used the L light and swapped it with the burnt out D.
If anyone knows the original part number for the bulb I’d like to know it.

Did you just buy bright whites and there’s a filter in front of it to give it a color? Also been trying to figure out if I replace the T5 bulbs that illuminates the entire cluster do I get bright whites and there’s a green filter to give it the green glow or do I need to get green LED. Appreciate any help from someone that’s already done this.
I think there is a filter, but you want to get green for sure. It would look washed out with a white bulb I bet.

See the video description. I put a link that takes you directly to the green 4mm led. Make sure you get the Amber color if you are replacing your reverse light.
Do you know the size bulb of the higbeam mine doesn't work.
The headlight bulb should be easy to find online or at a parts store but finding an led I'm not sure

What are all the sizes ? I think the main 5 are t10 are all the rest 4mm ???
The small ones for the gear indicator lights are 4mm and I have a link to led ones in the description. I think the bigger ones are t5 bulbs

What size are the bulbs for the e-brake and bulbs along the bottom? Are they t5 as well?
I believe they are the same size as the illumination bulbs not thr gear selector bulbs but I can't remember
Whats the light mean two figures to the left of the check engine light?? I cant find it anywhere manual or online, i took a 360 turn today on a freeway onramp and it blinked it looks like a windshield washer??
