    Oh boy, I saw this title and got so excited! Aw gees, you make it look so easy and it's not for me! I can stand fussing with mine for about 10 minutes and after that I loose all patience. You look absolutely fabulous! That's testimony that patience pays off w/ your hair. Love you to pieces, Susan

    Good to know that I'm doing it the same way. I use the blow dry brush every day as a brush as well and it gives my hair alot more volume than I used to get with regular brushing . I have tried so many different hairdryers/ motorized curlers/ flat iron dryers and I really love this one the best. It just makes sense when you think about it. And it's so much easier than any of the other dryers/curlers that I have used.

    I have never seen this wand. I use L'oreal Quick Dry Primer to cut down on blowdryer time then follow up with the InStyler curling iron tool to smooth the hair shaft and flip my layers back while my hair is still slightly damp to prevent over-drying. I can usually create a polished look in 4-6 swipes of the iron, which is a great time-saver for me.

    Just discovered your channel and I've been watching your videos. I purchased this dryer and I can't believe the results. On my first try, no other product used, it looks almost as good as when my stylist blow dries it straight. It can only get better (and faster) with more practice. Thank you so much for the tips! Looking forward to watching your other videos, and trying your recommendations.

    I have hair like yours and have been using the John Freida styling brush for several years now. I also use a ceramic ionic styling iron after the initial styling for extra frizz control. I wash my hair only once or twice a week only using my ceramic styling iron or large Velcro curlers for fullness.

    Angie, this is the highlight of my week. I love your hair and want mine to look just like yours. Thank you so much for doing this. It has helped me fine tune some of the steps from your previous one you had done a while back. I love the Angie Technique. Xxx, Melissa

    Hi Angie, I did my hair using my rotating styler using the same technique as you and it worked really well. Before this, I used to blow dry it using a round brush which takes ages and I get aching arms. This is so much quicker just rough drying it first like that and finishing with the styler.

    you should try the aphogee 2 step protein treatment. super easy but sticky. I tried it and it's like a light keratin treatment. it shines, it makes your curls come back and you basically get your hair back the way it used to be naturally. it just looks healthy.

    Hi Angie, thanks to you a few months back I bought this John Freida brush and than I cut my hair into a Bob and finally my hair looks wonderful!!! Love you!!! I also just bought the SPF Neutrogena Free & Clear for my face. Seems like what works for you works for me too :) thanks for all the updates and I still think all the cloths you were trying on looked GREAT on you!!! Have a wonderful EASTER!!! Lv Lucille

    Have you ever tried the Babyliss Big Hair? Same general idea except the brush part spins in 2 directions. It has soft bristles, and spins both directions, so no tangles. Once I'd gotten the hang of it, it has revolutionised my hair styling! Loads on tutorials on youtube...

    Great job Angie!
    I get frustrated so easily with my mop!
    Most days it ends up in a messy bun which is fine with me, it gives me more time to play with makeup! ;-)
    I did learn a few new things & tricks here!
    Thanks a bunch. xx

    ANGIE, That was great! The way you set up the camera was perfect! We could see front and back at the same time. I might have to invest in one of the curl and dry things. I love the Alterna caviar cream! It's the best. I have also been using Rusk gleam cream on my hair and it's great also! Do you ever sleep with your hair pulled up on top of your head with a (not to tight) headband ? I do this alot and when you take it out in the morning your hair has so much body! Try it sometime and let me know how you like it. I also do that then roll up the ponytail in a big Velcro roller. Instant body!!!! Hugs! Deb

    Wow....your hair always looks great. Love that styling tool too. I wish I had the time and the patience to dedicate this much effort to my hair.....lol. My hair is quite a bit longer, so I have it down to just washing it twice a week, air drying,then flat ironing to get the kinks and frizz out, then I apply a glossing product and usually throw on a head band or wear a long ponytail.......stays straight and holds the style so then I'm good to go for about 3 days.......picking up that CC cream tho, it does make or hair look great

    Hi, Angie. Thank you for answering my comment from yesterday' video so fast. I followed your advice and it so happened that my daughter has this hot iron brush from Revlon that she didn't use and gave it to me. I started practicing with it today and I think that with a couple more weeks of daily practice it's really going to work for me. I'm really excited with the prospect. I still plan to buy the John Frieda one, but the most important thing is that I'm gaining confidence in myself and believing that I might be able to accomplish what everybody seems to do so easily. Thank you again! 😍😍

    LOL bless you for your patience! I dont spend 23 minutes on my hair any longer now that i bought an ionic one pass... its a flat iron and after my hair dries which takes 7 or 8 minutes with a blow dryer i use the flat iron and it takes me 4 minutes to do my whole head LOL.. i used to take 30 to 45 minutes on my hair now its done in under 12 minutes tops...also have you ever tried the Healthy Sexy Hair touchable weightless hair spray? Im totally loving it right now... holds my hair in place but isnt sticky or crunchy! I bought the CC cream but havent tried it yet... so im excited for that in the morning!

    I 'm also terrible at using a blow dryer and round brush. Seems to do the opposite of smoothing....at least for my hair. I have a Conair thingie that rotates two directions, but doesn't blow any air so you have to use the blow dryer with it. Just too much work and awkwardness for me. So I do the rough dry like you do, then either use my largest curlers on my Caruso Steam Setter, or I use a curling iron. I can usually make my hair look pretty good this way. And the next day it looks about 75% as good for second day hair. I think I'd like to get that CC crème for the hair and try it.

    Looks GREAT! Angie, I got the CC cream as a 100 pt perk from Sephora and really love it. My hair is super frizzy, too. I tried a dryer like that years ago and it just wouldn't get my hair as smooth as I can with a dryer and round brush. Maybe it's a newer model and it works better now? XO

    Your hair looks so nice Angie! I always see people with hair like yours and just assume they are blessed with easy perfect hair, but you EARN your hair Angie! Are you ever afraid the comb will eat your hair?
    So far on your recommendation I have purchased the IT Cosmetics set from QVC and the Alterna CC cream and they are both fantastic! Not cheap, but worth the money. While love the CC cream, it dispenses the tiniest amount per pump of any hair product I have ever used. I have even longer hair than yours so I have to use about seven pumps. Yikes. But it smells so nice going on, but doesn't leave a scent in my hair long-term.

    • @jenm9027
      @jenm9027 10 років тому

      I use the Conair one too...I use the "comb" attachment because the "brush" attachment tangles into my hair. I can only find it at Walmart and when I go I grab 2 or 3 to keep stocked up in case it dies on me. (Even the Conairs last a while but just in case.) They are about $18 so why not. It's SO much easier than using a brush and blower.

    • @rxstrmom
      @rxstrmom 10 років тому +1

      Mine does not have a comb attachment...just two sizes of brushes...you are so right Jen...they are cheap and easy!!

    • @mollysmith6055
      @mollysmith6055 10 років тому

      Gosh, I have the cheapie too and threw away the bushy brush attachment because of tangling. Had no idea there was this superior product! The only time it gets use is when I want to stretch out my bangs as the rest of my hair is far too heavy and curly. But since hubs is sleeping when I'm getting ready for work, the little Conair is great for the bangs and making the least amount of noise in the house.

The brush goes in both directions so you don't have to worry about getting hair tangles. You can get it at Walmart, Target and CVS for around $59.99. Have you tried a different hair style? Il be honest with you, I personally think too many wispy layers at the ends look ageing to the hair, it looks strandy and straw like. I recommend you to forget feathering and layering the ends and focus on thickening your ends, I have done the same I just trim my hair and the thickness at the ends make it look so healthy and youthful xxx

    That's still a lot of work and time when you need makeup as well. Try this to save time. I wash my hair in the evening and shower. First I use a microfiber hair towel. I brush my hair and use a mouse or gel. I let it air dry to keep it healthy. I have fine blonde hair as well. So now it's a little damp and bed time. Here's my trick. Put it up in a high pony tail with a cloth circle elastic inside pony holder. Do it at least twice around. Now take the pony, loop it around and tuck just the ends into the bottom circle of the elastic. Go to bed. Sweet dreams. In the morning take it down and brush. It's like
    You set it. No frizz. If you like it straighter, just brush more. For fuller waves, brush less. Oh if you have bangs, best to do them with hairdryer and big round brush right after you towel dry. Try it and let me know how it works for you. Especially good for everyday look.

    I have really good luck with the large velcro-type rollers. My hair comes out very smooth, without curls, just body. And I don't have to use heat on my hair. The only downside is that you need time for it to air-dry. My hair is thin, though, so it doesn't take forever...

    Hello, mine seems a lot like yours with color ect, one tip, check your wide tooth comb, make sure it was not made in a mold, the way you tell look in between the combs , if you see a little thin line, get rid of it, that does your hairlike the ribbon you curl for balloons and strips the hair especially when wet. I use the Mason Pearson widevtooth comb, or Wen makes one. Looks great !:0) vanessa

    New subscriber! Love your videos already :) Very helpful tutorial! Looks like you've mastered this technique. It's all about finding what works for your hair. That John Frieda tool is pretty cool - I'm surprised at how well it works. Thanks

    Have you ever tried WEN? This helps my frizzy hair tremendously, as well as I don't have to use color as much.

    Great video Angie. Does the Alterna CC blow dry cream actually have caviar in it.

      It has "Caviar Extract" in the form of Omega 3 fatty acids and amino acids.

    I have heard a lot about the Caviar CC cream. My hair is naturally frizzy. This just might help. The John Frieda tool works nicely on your hair in what seems like a short amount of time. I'm all for cutting off the amount of time to do my hair. Great tutorial. Thanks, Diana :)

    Great job !! I always love you're hair. My hair looks real similar to yours, but I just gave myself some bangs the other day. I really wanna know where you're Mom bought the dryer. Can you ask her where she got it? I just bought a new hair product that would work great on you! I just bought it ...its the new Pantene Smooth blow dry cream for smooth hair. Works great!!! Same bottle as their BB cream, but blue. Makes hair so smooth and silky!! Its like $5.99. You should try it. 😃👍 Angie, has anyone ever told you that you look like a heather Locklear? (That's a compliment....she's beautiful !!)

    Hi Angie!
    I was wondering what you do regarding sun protection for your body. I'd like to protect my body skin, but its so hard to find a nice, natural sunscreen for my body (one based off of zinc or titanium dioxide). Everything seems to be a chemical sunscreen that comes in a larger size.

    I have very "BIG" and frizzy hair. We use the same comb.
    I like your video, we do our hair alike, mine just takes 3 hours to get straight. lol ughhh Thanks for the video!

    Great vid! Funny you call it the triangle hair look. I always call it "Roseanne Roseannadanna"!!! Have you tried WEN?! I have naturally curly hair that I have chemically relaxed. Then, in case I haven't damaged it enough, I have it colored and highlighted. I thought I'd never give up my Pantene, but I'm happy to say that I'm now a WEN girl! ;)

    Not too long ago, you linked your original John Freida video. I watched it. My hair could be your hair's "separated at birth" twin. I was so inspired that I bought two - one for each home. I'm not as skilled as you are using it, but I'm making progress. Originally, you noted your shampoo & conditioner were the L'Oreal Eversleeks. Are you still using those? I bought them, but I find myself using the Paul Mitchell Blondes. Thanks for the inspiration!

      Hi twin! It takes a little practice to get it just right (especially the amount of rough dry). I'm not using the L'Oreal any more, the conditioner was nice, but the shampoo dried out my hair. I'm now using Marc Anthony Bye Bye Frizz and love it! I get it at Ulta.

    FYI: I have long (about like yours) but very thick wavy/frizzy hair and believe me I have tried everything under the sun my entire life to get semi-straight unfrizzy hair! I have found that the Andis Brush Styler (with a squarer brush) is the ONLY thing that will get thru my thick hair all the way to the roots!!! Keep my hair in turbie towel till semi dry - then section off with clips and brush dry! Cuts down on the flat ironing time etc! But I must say they several times a year I get the Keratin Relaxer Treatment AND THAT has cut down my blow drying time in half!!! My hair has never looked healthier or shiny!!!! The things we do huh????? XO
