I'm a 65 yo woman who had lost most of my brows due to age and thyroid issues. Earlier this year I began using 5% minoxidil liquid (1 drop per brow twice each day immediately after cleansing applied with my finger so it doesn't run) and Just For Men beard & mustache dye every couple of weeks. What a game changer!! Brows are so important, especially as we age. They have become a very quick part of my makeup routine instead of the timesuck they were. Your tips are very helpful! I hope in the future you'll do a video about choosing makeup colors that flatter older women. It's easy to go too dark or dramatic with brows, shadows, blush, and lips - which may be okay for an evening event but is too harsh for every day looks. Softer is better as we age and you've learned how to pick those types of colors. Thanks again!!

I have very sparse brows and can't find a true medium gray pencil, not charcoal which is too dark for me. Even so-called taupe looks orange on me. I need to fill in where there is no hair and anything that coats the hairs doesn't work for me. I used to buy Cover Girl gray but can't find it at the drug store or even online any more.

Great video! I still have pretty full brows, but a few sneaky gray hairs are coming in. I find it hard to get the right product to cover the gray without looking to dark. And finding the right color is hard for me too. Fair skin, hair is light brown/blonde with some red. Most everything I’ve tried is either too light/ashy or too dark. But at least now I have a great technique to reference!

Hi Angie. Thanks for this tutorial. I never had much eyebrow hair and they were also very light in color so they were almost non existent. I recently started dying them with Just For Men in Blonde, and what a difference!!!!! I use a small eyeliner brush and make strokes with the dye. I now can see what hairs I have which is a starting point for filling in my brows. AND when I haven’t done my brows there is something there and I don’t look like I’ve shaved them off. It lasts about a month.

Dying my eyebrows and lashes was the best beauty move ever for me. Both are very sparse so I was surprised at the results. We have lots of blonde hairs I suppose. And, it was easy to enhance a little for an evening look. My aesthetician stopped working during the pandemic due to mandates. I was intending to do it myself, and I bought the RefectoCil products that she used (German I believe), but I am such a chicken. My husband did it for me one time and I looked like Groucho Marx for a month.

You make it look so easy, Angie! All the brow pencils I've tried are great on the first brow. I get nice fine lines that look like brow hair. By the second brow, the pencil is worn down a little and all I get are brown blobs instead of hairlike strokes. It is so frustrating. Also, can anyone answer this question for me? Why is it that because I plucked my brows in the 70's and 80's I have sparse brows, but I keep plucking those stray hairs on my chin and they just keep coming back? LOL Love watching you!

Good Morning Angie - I'm pretty good with my brow game..Sometimes I color them because some are white, but that's easy! Thank you, and have a great weekend! Headed to Atlantic City to see Sarah McLachlan with my daughter! So excited! ~lori ❤

    Hi Angie,
    You look fabulous as usual
I have learnt so much from and have been watching you from the beginning
However I do take heed of products you suggest
Except the devices I cannot afford those😊

Great demo. Lost my the tail of my brows due to thyroid issues. I have tried several ways to make them look as natural as possible. Yours look great, so I will try this way. Love all your videos 😊

That's really helpful, thank you. I totally abused my eyebrows in the 70's and 80's as skinny eyebrows were very fashionable way back then. I use an eyebrow serum and it has helped but any additional help is appreciated, thank you. 👍🙂

Terrific! I've been concerned about eyebrow growth serum but trust anything you suggest. Also, all brow pencils have been too hard/firm to use. Glad you fojnd one that is softer. I have brow gels I'm happy with but what covers the odd white hair popping up? Salon dyes look too dark/exaggerated to me.

Thanks Angie! Thick eyebrows at middle and sparse at the end here! Have tried so many products; always look fake. Your step-by-steps are always so thorough and easy to follow! Would appreciate tips on eyeliner-can't tightline like you do-it irritates my eyes 😒.

Found it! ROFL! I saw this a week ago?? And have been in the market for an eyebrow growth product but I was like 'no way am I going to just buy somethig.' Nope. Too many out there. Too expensive to just flounder about. I want to start with something another person is having success with. So thanks!

Back combing the brows with the gel is so smart.. I'm going to try that. I've never felt like gel actually holds anything, just causes buildup. That might help

I have a large gap in brow hairs in my right brow, just over the inner corner, but there are hairs at the start of the inner corner. My brows are blonde and very thin and a hot mess. I do more or less use this method but the brows are what they are and I’ve finally made my peace with that. I don’t like to overdo trying to fill them in as I feel it looks fake and weird. Your brows are great!

I'm 57 and watched numerous tutorials over the years on video but you used visuals with your verbal instructions and I never realized my Brooke Shield eyebrows that have lessened some can look great and realistic. Thank you!
