Judy your work is so intuitive.... its fun to your process and to see what you will do, but I bet its difficult to "teach" someone how to be intuitive. I found myself thinking, "I could never pull that off" lol. ;)
Judy,dear...what is thst marvelous rubber scraper? I've never seen one before. Is this a hardware store type of tool? Perhaps for a wallpaper hanger? I'd love yo find one! Thoroughly enjoying your videos..I'm a member of Loiise Gletcher's ArtTribe Community!🌿
Thank you Judy. I appreciated knowing more about using gesso not only to create tooth to the paper but also as another medium or colour to overlay. A useful lesson in composition and contrast. Definitely good to get in touch with that inner 4 year old.
An extremely powerful process--I will definitely do this!
Really interesting and practical. Thank you.
Fascinating!
Exciting and wonderful. Thank you Judy
I watched quite a few of your videos by now and do enjoy them. I think this is one of your best ones so far. And a fun one. Thanks so much!
Glad you like them!

Love this idea as a way into abstraction - thankyou so much for sharing!😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you, definitely going to try these😁
You have a very creative mind. I wish i could use my own.
Why can't you?
Mind blown! Love this exercise Judy - definitely going to play with it. Can see how beneficial it would be with abstract composition!
What kind of paper do you like for an exercise like this? How do you avoid buckling? Looks so fun and playful!
I just use 110gsm sketchbook paper, sometimes it does curl a little, but I glued these exercises into my sketchbook which keeps them flat.
As a collage artist, this video was incredibly inspiring. Thankyou so much for sharing!
I absolutely enjoyed this video. Will hopefully try this soon!
Thank you Judy, this is so much fun! I'm getting clearer on composition and feeling joy in the process.

It's called a Colour Shaper. You should be able to buy it at your local art supplies store.
@@judywoodsart..thank you. Judy! I just viewed your other video about it! I'm thoroughly enjoying your videos, and your lovely energy!🧘♀️

Wonderful! I would love to know what the white pencil is that you used over the black?
