- Jenn meets up with Jocelyn and Justine Wong (a.k.a. the Hangry Diary sisters) to try some of the best fried chicken in the SGV. Jocelyn and Justine first take Jenn to Sinbala in Arcadia, a place that serves a version of Taiwanese popcorn chicken they say is close to what you’ll find at the night markets in Taiwan. Then they visit Tastea in Alhambra, one of Jenn’s favorite places for boba and chicken.

Love the work that the LAT Food team is putting out. And love seeing Asian food platformed and showcased! Thanks for all you do :)
I grew up in SGV but moved away because of work. When I visit family I will hit up these spots both places look great
Agree! More of these spots 🙌 I just posted an sgv vid too, they’re so underrated
I am drooling right now, thanks for sharing the video. I used to live around that area years ago, watching your video makes me want to come back for a visit and enjoy the delicious food.
Fried chicken at Tokyo Central in Gardena is pretty good the one in the food court n in the shopping area
We should do that recipe more often in Maryland.
Jenn, you are so chill. The others are kind of a pain
The LA Times Journo looked so disappointed that the experts did not like her popcorn chicken as much.
👍 Thanks for this introduction! Looks so-o-o-o-o great....! 😎

@4:40 I wouldn’t trust any1 who doesn’t like a dipping sauce with chicken nuggies 🤣
I would laugh if someone said tastea had good chicken
