As luck would have it I’m painting my board and while waiting for it to dry found your video. I am using the same paper and paints, so how lucky am I to find your tutorial. 😆
Beautiful 😍😍
I really like the Woodglut plans.
Thank you
Hi, thanks for sharing d video, very helpful for beginner's like me.
I wanted to know why do we have to wet the paper before sticking, cant it be stuck in d dry state??
Thanks.
It can also be done without wetting the paper. But it's easier this way since the paper becomes more pliable.
Woodglut plans are amazing!
Pls do decoupage on old exam board
Thank you for sharing. I have subscribed and will look forward to other videos.
Thank you for subscribing!
Hi can we use the decoupagedboard for cutting veggies
No... It's only for decorative purpose.
Very nice work. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Hi can you use this for cutting things on or is it just for decoration probably a stupid question thanks
It's just for decoration..☺️
Would you be able to put a warm plate/dish on it?
Warm plate should be fine I guess. I haven't personally used it as a hot pot holder though.
Very nice! How does one see part 2 of this video to find out what you did on the other side and also how does one use the varnish on top to finish this? Which varnish do you use? A beginner, hence the many questions.
+Hari Marar Thankyou.
Actually I haven't uploaded the 2nd part yet. I'll be doing it soon. You can use any wood varnish. I use Aquadur PU from Asian paints. It's a water based varnish hence easier to work with. You can also use Clear Gloss spray varnish from the brand Just spray. It's available on Amazon. Here's the link

If you prefer matt finish, that's also available.
I have also used the decoupage glue from Little Birdie as a sealer for certain other projects. It works just fine.
@@SimplyPrettyCreations Thanks a tonne! Also wanted to check does this clear lacquer spray make it water proof? Inspired by you I wanted to do some decoupage on cork mats that i use on the table for hot food and was not sure if this will stand heat and moisture .
I’m not very sure about this as I haven’t used it for this purpose. Assuming that the mat would be used to place hot pot on a daily basis, I don’t think the lacquer would be able to withstand high heat...moisture to a certain extent is fine. These varnishes are usually meant for decorative surfaces and wood work which generally don’t come in contact with high heat and a whole lot of moisture. These can definitely be used on coasters to place a cup of tea or any drink. The stains on it can be wiped off with a slightly damp cloth.
So nice ideas
Thank you
Very cute 😘😘😘
Thank you
Useful for beginners...👆
