All I can say is, God Bless Each and all of you. Pinball, thank you thank you thank you for being so heartfelt and may God send multiple blessings to you and Mrs. PB.
I’ve always wanted to try decoupage with napkins, there are so many beautiful projects to do. It’s time to begin Christmas crafting, so family members may be receiving something decoupaged this year! Thank you for the beautiful inspiration!🙏🏻♥️
WOWWW, Aimee! I love the books, the tray, (which is crazy gorgeous), the candle, that beautiful canvas, and the pumpkin! I LOVE your decoupage inspiration!!!! I can't wait to see your Christmas version! TFS!❤
Loved all of your projects! When I decoupage on canvas I use a rolled-up towel on the back to give support while ironing. Thanks for sharing your fall creativity ideas!
Hi Aimee, I loved all your creations! Just this morning before work (9/21) at 5:30am i went to Paper Source to see what napkins they had on sale but, thet were too expensive. I am in a 3 day craft sale at the end of October and i wanted yo make one more craft because i have all the other supplies on hand. Years ago Mod Podged a pretty napkin my Mom gave me on 5X10 canvas and I hung it on my bedroom wall which was painted sage green and it added a nice pop of color. For the life of me I cannot find the box i packed it in when i moved and it had all treasures from my Mom who left us in 2021. I have been collecting napkins since I was 8 using them as dollies on my childhood dresser, rubber cementing them onto the faux plastic Easter eggs. My Mom called me her Little Martha Stewart when i was 16. Lasr summer I purchased from the Dollar Tree 3 hardback books front cover and back all white and only tte title and author on the spine. I bought them to use for a Christmas project but I love your idea! Now i am wondering where they are. When the movers said they were finished i went to look in the trailer to see for myself but, i am missing 3 boxes. I love hoe you transformed the silver tray. I have two of the silver mini trays I think they would look nice decorated as you have done. Last but, not least, my last bday with my Mom in 2020 she gave me 3 white pillar candles at different heights. She called me her Fall Baby so i think i would like to find a pretty Fall napkin and use them on the candles. I have a nice serving window with a wide sill I think they would look nice on. Thank you for great ideas, Rebekah in VA
I love the heat method for decoupaging. I bought a small travel iron at Walmart for $10 to $15, and it works great, of course not using the steam feature. All your projects were really cute
Great ideas :) Question... I live in Florida, very humid. I have deco'ed napkins on mason jars to make luminaries before, but when I store them in bins after the holidays, they stick to everything and get ruined. The humidity makes them stay sticky. I wonder if I then sealed them, if that wouldn't happen?
Yes! And I have used that mini heat press on heat transfer vinyl. SO much more convenient that pulling out my big heat press (that I rarely use anymore).
You can take your paint back to where you bought it and they will shake it for free. I've been doing this for 30-ish years. I just make sure I put a BIG "X" on the top lid if there is no paint visible that you brought in, no receipt required.

Never heard of this heat press method. Awesome.
Me either!
I've only recently started seeing this technique and am anxious to try it.

I loved how the tray turned out.
If you take a piece of painters tape and press it to the bottom layers it will help you get started taking the extra layers off. Game changer
Or tiny drop of modpodge between your thumb and fore finger, press an separate! Works like a charm.
That’s exactly the tip I was going to share. Game changer for sure!
All such great ideas, thanks for the video!
They all turned out very pretty....
Absolutely love every one of your projects.

Love it!
Love These ❤
I use an iron to do that without using parchment paper. Goes fast and looks so pretty. Candle sticks are so pretty too.
Thank you.
I love these ❤❤❤

Spray them with lacquer 😊
I brought the same book. I should have gotten more than one.
Really like your pumpkin. You mentioned shellac. Are you using it instead of decoupage?
I love the container next to your candle. Did you make it?
Can you put vinyl words on T-shirt with that little heat press? I don’t have any heat presses. I love your crafts
Yes! And I have used that mini heat press on heat transfer vinyl. SO much more convenient that pulling out my big heat press (that I rarely use anymore).
Do you use the napkin backings for other crafts? I didn't love the canvas project. The napkin was too obvious on that one. The Pumpkin was beautiful
Pretty idea ❤ I don’t have a little iron. Does the heat gun work? So Loved #4!!! Mahalo 🤙🏼😎✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Did you put the mod lodge in the inside cover if book to get the edges to Asher to the inside cover?
Yep, just on the little part that I painted (the book cover part, not the paper part, if that makes sense)
I want to know where you got the pretty green two-tone eucalyptus? I've yet to see any anywhere.
Target! I think they are the Spritz brand.
@TheCrazyCraftLady Aww no wonder I couldn't find them. Thank you, I asked another UA-camr and she never replied thank you
When the napkin dries on the canvas you can use a sandpaper block to get rid of excess napkin
❤❤❤❤
Wondering 10:46 if this heat transfer method will work on photos?
What setting do you use on your heat press?
Has anyone found the silver trays at Dollar Tree? I have looked at several ones without any luck. I can't wait to try using this method.
Where do you find your napkins
Where do you get your napkins??
Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, TJMaxx/HomeGoods, and Target :)
Use painters tape to separate napkin.
@thecrazycraftlady What is “photo mod podge”?
not sure, maybe I said "matte mod podge"???
Wax paper on the candle works better.
2:00 pm I was told to put a coat of mod podge over the completed piece to seal and protect. But it looks like you don't.
How will you know what book is what, when you're ready to read one?
You don't, lol! It's more for decoration.
I already have too many books.
You can take your paint back to where you bought it and they will shake it for free. I've been doing this for 30-ish years. I just make sure I put a BIG "X" on the top lid if there is no paint visible that you brought in, no receipt required.
Did you take the candle out of the glass container? If so how do you remove it without destroying the candle?
It didn’t come in a container.
Can you use an iron if you're like me and don't have a heat gun.
Yes! Absolutely! Just NO steam :)
Would I half to paint paint the books first? Why couldn't a person skip the paint on the books and just mod podge over the books?
Am I the only one who feels kind of bad for the authors of the books we use for crafts? 😟
That's why it's better to make fake books for projects like this.
The authors still get paid for the books they sell regardless of what becomes of the book after it is purchased.
Remove the price tags
Yeah I don't have a heat press So I'm out
You can use a dry iron.
Yep! This! An iron with NO steam works just the same. I've even used a blow dryer on the candle craft.

Thank you so much
