This IS an adaptation of the translated Japanese lyrics. NOT LIKE THE RICHIE KATZEN VERSION. That version has an awesome guitar solo but it has simple lyrics that have nothing to do with Gundam.
I just think it works better for the flow of the song to say “mobile warrior” instead of trying to shoehorn in “mobile suit” the translations on this record aren’t perfect and sometimes too literal but it doesn’t detract from it being very enjoyable and fun to listen to.

Gundamu is japanese for Gundam and its supposed to be "Mobile Suit Gundam" not "Mobile Warrior Gundamu”
Kido Senshi Gandamu translates to Mobile Warrior Gundam, not Mobile Suit.
Also Gundam is English for Gandamu not the other way around.
