For a couple of actors who have probably done hundreds of interviews to promote the new film in last couple of weeks they come across as being really great humble people.
I know Keanu reeves has terrible social anxiety.
Yeah, also had to laugh how they couldn't really deal with Russell's Englishness 😁

@@hondaeownerreviews8608 while with 99% of most celebrities, I would agree, these two are legit wonderful and human beings filled with genuine humility. Doing press tours is tedious and sure they are getting paid but don’t doubt their sincerity, they are some of the good few.

There was at least 75% bemusement from Carrie-Anne in the face of Russell's humour. Brilliantly awkward 🤣
I think that may be in part because in the US all TV interviews are very much G rated. A lot of American stars seem to be taken by surprise when they're being interviewed on programs that air after the watershed and they hear words like 'shit' or 'fuck.' It's such a wonderfully mature attitude toward colorful speech that only emphasizes how uptight the US is.
Recently Scrabble announced that they are removing not only racist or otherwise insulting words from their official dictionary but also those words and others like 'fart.' I stopped playing the official Scrabble online game & switched to a bootleg version because it wouldn't accept those words.

@@tonyb9735 felt a bit reverential. Not the usual vibe he has with his interviewees. Perhaps in deference to Carrie Ann? Good enough, I guess.
@Dave Gilmour I remember my daughter learning the word 'fart' when she was about 6 or 7 and she thought it was the funniest thing ever. I can't imagine saying, "No." to that.
Also, I noticed that their understanding of etymology is very limited. For instance the left in "gyp" (as in cheat) which is a racist reference to the Romani people.
it was really nice seeing Keanu get Russel right away and Carrie Ann slowly coming round and getting it :D

The idea of being in a packed movie theatre in 1999 watching the Matrix and you glance over and Trinity is just sat there next to you! You’d be so tripped out and probably end up questioning that memory everyday for the rest of your life 😂

Just a few short years ago Russell was finding his way on MTW... now he's getting leather jackets from Carrie-Anne and Keanu. And deservedly so. Great interview.

I saw the Matrix Resurrections in IMAX, I adored it, I Love These 3 and they are all nice genuine people.

Russell wasn't a household name back when the matrix started. Has come along so far and managed to travel and meet great people entertaining us all along side his mum at times.
Carrie has aged like a fine wine. I'm not ashamed to admit I had a thing for her back then.

Keanu, goodness, he's such an incredible person. He's the type of person that many should look up to and use as a role model, not these vapid and conceited celebs whose so far up their own asses that they're now breathing their own shit fumes. And Carrie-Anne, I know little about her acting career and life but she seems like a lovely person too, and aged like the finest wine.
No if you try and make him a role model someone will condemn him for smoking or riding motorcycles or being too traumatized to get married and have children. People should just live their own lives and let others live their own imo. Like he's not you you are not him so why compare?

When I left the cinema after watching Matrix, I was mesmerized. I went back to watch it again!
Really I tried watching it last night at home and turned it off half way through.
Keanu never let being a Star go to his head. Hes so down to earth. He also doesn't live like a star. He lives pretty simple. A very humble man & one of the nicest human beings. One thing for sure he doesn't age, must be his Polynesian Genes.
Yeah and Carrie Ann Moss is a Diamond 💎 to, there's such chemistry between Them as well.

I love Russell Howard. He's a fantastic comedian and he's actually surprisingly great at interviews, which is why I'm a little confused as to why this one turned out a bit awkward. I can see why others here in the comments think this, but do go watch his other interviews. They're rock solid!

I think the American actors were quite shocked because he swore. They’re absolutely not allowed to do that in interviews. I noticed they started to relax when he made the joke about an awkward speed date. I think they realised he‘s a nice guy then, and not trying to trick them or something.

Just saw The Matrix: Resurrections. Absolutely amazing :) The changes that were made to some of the casting all made sense, it had a great balance between philosophical musings and martial arts action, put the romance between Neo and Trinity at the heart of the film with genuine feeling and great performances from Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, and managed somehow to revisit elements of the previous films while simultaneously moving the story, its characters, and its universe forward. Ignore any negative reviews. Avoid spoilers. Go and see it.

The last Matrix film come out in 2003 and it was the 2nd film that Trinity was on the FRONT of the bike with the Key Maker on the BACK. Just saying. 👍🏻
That was great! You should follow up and see if you could get Keanu to come by for dinner with you and your mom. His reactions to your mom would be highly entertaining. And you squirming as your mom repeatedly embarrasses you in front of him would be comedy gold!

I was afraid that 4 part will be not good , but I have seen this 2 days ago , in my opinion good , after such gap ,
I know they'll likely get a heads up on questions to expect but I doubt they properly plan for the different ones and response Russell would give them to the typical interview ones. Can you imagine what someone like Frankie Boyle would ask and respond with. That would seriously catch them off guard
