Went straight through the stop sign, way to go.
Glad to see your doing well brother
Pretty smooth operation with low traffic. Happy Trails 👣 CJ. Stay Safe 🙏.....
Yes 😁 it definitely helps when the CHP stops all the traffic for us.
In Canada for CFL games we are not allowed to leave the side of the coach for the duration of time of the game. Some sort of protocol for evacuation. Cant even watch the game 100ft away. Not cool.
We had the same rule for our superbowl and for the same reason.
I was the lead/requested driver for most of the NFL teams playing the Bills in Buffalo for a lotta years. Most times it’s the same procedure from arrival pickup to hotel, hotel to game to airport the next day. Some teams may want something done a little differently, you just come up with a plan and it all works out. Most of the drivers had done it many times also, which helps if you need to deviate and go to plan B for whatever reason. I got to know many of the “advance” people from teams over the years and though I can’t drive bus anymore, I still keep in touch with many them. It works out good for the whole time they’re in town when most or all of the drivers have experience in carrying the teams, it takes a lotta worry off of the advance people. Plus we worked well with the Sheriff Dept escorts, we know what they’re gonna do and vice versa. Had to change routes on the fly many times. And getting to the stadium, parking, and out of it to head to the airport. I loved doing the teams. All the drivers got together in the bus or outside, weather depending, and had our own buffet or cookout while watching the game on TV. Even had some Bills Alumni, visiting advance people or whoever wanted to stop by for a burger or whatever we had, they loved that we had our own tailgating going on. I miss not doing it anymore. I’ve gotten so many hats 🧢 over the years too 😆!
I agree, definitely one of my favorite moves. Thanks for watching.
Zzz was
Meaning what, Terri?
why cant you drive buses anymore?
@Salesman, I have too many issues with my lower back. I can’t pass the DOT physical anymore due to restrictions and the pain. So I retired, had to give it up.
wow awesome video! interesting to see all the behind the scenes from your perspective!! thanks for sharing this, really enjoyed it John! 😁
Thank you Kristina
HEY Captain 👋 😁 cool work !!
Thank you for watching!!!
Hello
Yodelayheehoo
So they used a 737-900.
Miss doing these movements with West Valley Charter pre 2005
Definitely a fun move
Great video it's neat to see the behind the scenes and the logistics of moving professional sports teams. I drove University football teams from our home yard to their games and that was four busses. You are getting a lot of drive time on a Setra. I didn't understand but was the blue MCI CRT a Storer bus? Next question what type of orchard is by your Modesto yard? Thanks for the video I will be looking forward to the next one.
Nut orchards
@@williambaum785 thank you
Yes the blue MCI was one of our commuter busses for one of the tech companies. Yes those are nut trees but I'm not 100% sure what kind. I think almond? Thanks as always for watching.
@@captain.john. Beautiful coach love the blue colors.
Cool video man
Thank you
Great video John....enjoyed watching what goes on transporting NFL teams. Too bad you couldn't get video of the players. 🏈🏈🏈
@@deliabaker404 thanks for watching. Now you see it from our side of the office 😁. Ya I'm sure I could get them on video but I want to be respectful.
Setra le meilleur
Who pays for your rooms when you do a pro game? Or does the team pay for the rooms
All I know is my company tells me what hotel to go to. Thanks for watching.
I was not sure I was just asking sir plus I possibly may be moving back to California yes to the Modesto area and if I did I would try to get a job with storer transportation
@@johnblevins1349 definitely apply and put me down as a referral.
Go Packers!! Obviously the preseason doesn’t really matter. It was very enjoyable watching this video. I had no idea that they had to go through TSA, even though it’s a private flight back to Green Bay. And, Hello from Wisconsin.
@@markmanz8897 hey there! Thanks for watching.
Good times. Is the pay somewhat comparable to truck driving?
I make more on the bus than when I was a company truck driver. Probably owner operator makes more.
Does your company do any of the NHL, NBA, MLB or college sports in the area ? If so, have you done those ?
We do NFL and NBA. We also do our local universities and minor league teams. Yes I have videos on those.
I remember you for being a subscriber to JBG Travels
Still subscribed to him. I talk to him on the phone once in a while.
@@captain.john. Nice
How come you guys stayed in Newark and not some place a little closer to SJ?
Sometimes it's hard to find parking for 7 motor coaches
@@captain.john. yup. Makes sense. When I was a kid years ago I went with my parents on a 2 week motor coach tour throughout Europe and ever since then I’ve always wanted to do what you’re doing now. Great channel!!!
@@iJMultiplication it's a fun job
For Safety and Security i am suprirsed you were seperate from the others bus from the bus pick up location to the airport pick up. I noticed how many of your videos that you attend to hang back and not with the group is there a reason why. If your escorting for the NFL should you all be together for Safety/Security when traveling in case something goes wrong.
Not sure why they need a police escort. seems like a waste of taxpayer money to me. Especially for a preseason game.
