“Mr. I want to pass everybody” was hilarious!! 🤣 Also that Prevost coach was nice! Great vlog bro! 👍🏾
Great
Captain John, I was thinking that you and Storer Coach ways should get the 2013 Prevost H3-45
Good. Work. Asomugha. Video
19 years ago I've tooked the motorcoach from high school in Fresno CA to Anaheim we did that Grad night to Disneyland, we had dinner at the house of blues and then into the park we go.
Wow that was so much fun riding all these motor coach buses
Those buses are awesome at disneyland, Also, How come the buses didn’t take the Tehachapi Highway and Then the Antelope Fwy that it passes Santa Clarita CA
Thanks for watching! Tehachapi would be a longer trip. I-5 is quicker to Anaheim from our area.
@@captain.john. I know, If those buses take the I-5, will it take the 101 south freeway as a hollywood freeway?
I agree with the formation thing, but 68mph🥵
Ya it's tough. Especially on I-5. But when we have to follow a school bus, they're set to 55 by law.
@@og_blue3925 22 no experience 24 with experience and spab. 28 bus test express.
I always ask the kids to let me go ahead of them in line so I can get my food and get back to the bus faster. The teachers tell them to move for me.
I've had the same experiences. You must be local to my area. What company do you drive for? We probably passed each other a time or two.
My congrats to the real Captain John 45 years behind the wheel that is great
He definitely loves the job and company.
👍
Hello
Yodelayheehoo
How is it determined who will be the 'lead driver/bus"?
Usually dispatch. However sometimes the drivers will decide the day we leave for the trip.
Hi there, just found your channel. Very interesting video with some cool looking coaches. I’m a bus/coach driver in Australia and have always wanted to try my hand driving coaches in the US. Maybe one day! Just one thing - regarding the coach that broke formation. I get that you feel he should have stayed in formation. I don’t know if that’s a common thing in the US for coach drivers but with regard to professionalism, in case he/she is watching your video, might be best in future to not say that in a video where everyone can see that criticism and instead speak to that driver politely and privately if possible. They could be a rookie, for all we know. I’ve just found in my experience driving professionally for a long time, sometimes discretion will take you further and won’t cause harm to relationships within the industry. Keep up the great videos!
My Wife is graduating college in October so we were able to get in to Disneylands Grad Night. We’ll be there in a couple days. The only sad thing is it’s in DCA instead of the original park.
We went back when we graduated high school and one of the best moments was riding Splash Mountain and taking the final plunge just as the sun was rising. The view from the top of Splash was incredible for that half a moment before crashing down into the brier patch. So worth it.
Great video yet again Capn.
Great video! I agree-not very courteous or professional to break formation in a convoy. But I couldn't imagine being governed to 68 mph! I complain about our newer coaches set at 71 mph! Lol. Thanks for the great videos!
That merge from bus 1 after the rest stop was scary…
I worked the disney shuttles to the parking lot. Were your students hella late getting back to the bus? They shut the shuttles down for a while because the students were acting up.
I love your videos! I drove these for a few years. I’m based out of Atlanta, Georgia, so I drove for Southeastern Stages and Daniel’s(before they were bought out by Academy Bus. These videos bring back all the feels and memories of when I drove(which was only 6 years ago!)
Thanks for watching. It's definitely one of the best jobs I've ever had.
Great editing which made this a great video with the music it added something extra. There is always a driver or two within a convoy who has to be first can't stand to follow another bus. I experienced this with fellow drivers within my own company.
Work for the most often 😢😮
I have done 100s of multiple Bus moves. There is always the one jerk who is not happy unless he is the first Bus and its always the farm out guys
even with the $150 redeye pay i turned down all of these trips this year. noooo thank you. just too tough on the body.
You only used 38 Gallons ?? How many Miles did you Drive ?? Happy Trails 👣 CJ. Stay Safe 🙏...
Ya I think that was a mistake it should have been much more. The pump was having issues that day.

I rode on a bubbley window silver side bus. I believe it was a Provost with Detriot Diesel. I am fascinated by coach buses.
